ROTFLMBO!!!! That’s funny right there!
They are bunch of card carrying loons who believe only 150,000 people can ever get to Heaven. Why not 151,000?
Jehovah’s Witnesses? They are Arian heretics, who compound their fundamental Christological error with the bizarre insistence on translating the Greek word stavros as “post” rather than “cross”.
I think they’ve put some sort of mark on my door, since they no longer come to my house to preach their errors. I suppose the experience of having me preach Holy Orthodoxy to them on my doorstep put them off (I used to do the same when Mormons came by—I’m not sure if they use the same mark on the door, or put one of their own, but they don’t come by any more either).
My JW coworker gives me some of his homebrewed cider and beer, so I tolerate his caprices.
I heard something about they got started here during WWII...know anything about that??
“My List of NEVER,NEVER ever allowed into my home under any circumstances:..”
Your list has a major omission - Democrats. Also, the sequence is wrong. Lawyers should be #1.
They said that they had never heard of my denomination, "Must be some new cult"
*You've heard of us, our football team kicked your teams's ass.
"We don't have a football team"
*Yes you do, Birmingham Young
"It's BRIGHAM YOUNG!"
*Oh, so you do have a football team. Well, we kicked your ass last season.
Go Horned Frogs
“Jesus didn’t celebrate Christmas “
Now that’s funny!!!
LOL, My SIL told ‘em she was Catholic. They never showed up again.
I’m half Jehovah Witness....
I can knock on the front door...but then I run away.

You need to come by my house so we can sit down and talk.
I think all JW’s believe they will get to heaven, it’s just that only 150,00 will get the box seats.
; )
Allot ot the women who come to the door are hot looking.
Charles used to sell "miracle wheat", it was asserted that it would grow five times as much as any other brand of wheat.
"The Brooklyn DailyEagle first made public the facts about these new ventures of the Russellites [an early term used to describe Russell's followers] and it published a cartoon picturing the `Pastor' and his `Miracle Wheat' in such a way that `Pastor' Russell brought suit for libel, asking $100,000 damages.
"Government departments investigated the wheat for which $1.00 a pound was asked, and agents of the Government were important witnesses at the trial of the libel suit in January, 1913.
"The `Miracle Wheat' was low in the Government tests, they said. The Eagle won the suit."
Before going to court, The Brooklyn Eagle made this claim:
"The Eagle goes even further and declares that at the trial it will show that `Pastor' Russell's religious cult is nothing more than a money-making scheme,"

No I’m not. I’m quite familiar with JW. They believe that Jesus and Lucifer are brothers...the similarity in beliefs between the LDS and JW creeds probably stems from the fact that they’re both born from the various new sects that sprung up in NY and NE after the ‘Great Awakening’. The JW evolved from the Millerite cults and perhaps Joseph Smith was influenced by them or their influences as well.
I noticed the window thing too. I’m with your wife, that always gives me an odd feeling. No rational basis, it just does.
i would politely tell her that I have no interest in what she has to say and I wouldn't presume to tell her what she believes. How can I? I can't see what's in her heart. But I do know what her 'church' (cult) teaches and it's NOT Christianity.
They weren’t always like that, they use to honor the flag and also were part of military service.

“every one in America should take pleasure in
displaying the American flag”
The Watchtower Reprints, May 15, 1917, p. 6086
“Since the Bethel Home was established in one end
of the Drawing Room there has been kept a small
bust of Abraham Lincoln with two American flags
displayed about the bust. This is deemed entirely
proper.”
The Watchtower Reprints, August 1, 1898, p. 2345
“Notice that there is no command in the Scriptures
against military service. Obedience to a draft
would remind us of our Lords words, If any man
compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain. The
government may compel marching or drilling, but
cannot compel you to kill the foe. You need not be
a good marksman.”
The Watchtower Reprints, April 15, 1903, p. 3180
“There could be nothing against our consciences in
going into the army. Wherever we would go we
could take the Lord with us, the Captain of our
salvation, and wherever we would go we could find
opportunities to serve him and his cause. If it came
to the point of battling we above all others need
have no fear of death, but we, assuredly, would be
obliged to draw the line when commanded to fire,
and we could not, in harmony with the divine
program, fire upon a fellow creature with the
intention of taking his life. If we fired we should be
obliged to fire either into the air or into the ground.”
Changing “the truth”....
The Watchtower, June 15, 1964, p. 378
“Well, what is a flag? It is an image made by man;
it is a representation of the State. Flags often
contain representations of things in the heavens,
such as stars, as well as things on earth. So to
dedicated Christians, kneeling before or saluting a
flag would be a violation of the Second
Commandment and of the Christian command to
flee from idolatry.”
The Watchtower, February 1, 1951, p. 77
“Because they are wholly dedicated to God by their
vows to him through Christ, Jehovahs witnesses
are according to Gods Word no part of this world
which is governed by the political systems. For this
important Bible reason they tell officials of the
government that they conscientiously object to
serving in any military establishment or any civilian
arrangement that substitutes for military service.”
Now you've piqued my curiosity. Care to explain?
