He's at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, hardly a "Catholic school" (though they do have a pretty solid Newman center, I'm told).

UI Newman Ctr. has a decent cafeteria, anyway. At least it did 20 years ago. Everything else around has changed, I wouldn't be surprised if they'd bulldozed it and put in computer labs.

(My old neighborhood is just plain gone. Replaced by ugly condos.)

Which neighborhood, perchance? I’m most familiar with the 2nd & John St area, and with the old 6-pack dorms (MRH). Both of those places have changed a lot since the U’s centennial.
