Churches Vandalized, Ransacked, and Threatened with Disruption

The past week produced more evidence that attacks against churches are on the rise-at least three churches suffered property destruction or threatened disruption. As usual, they were conservative churches that take a stand on moral issues that were abused.

In Fort Wayne, Indiana, a group called "Bash Back" broke into an Evangelical church and spray painted "666" and other messages on a church van and garage door, poured oil over books and other items, and stole valuable construction equipment. ("Bash Back" is the same group that ADF is currently suing on behalf of Mount Hope Church in Michigan, after they disrupted a Sunday service and blocked traffic because of the church's stand in support of marriage and against abortion).

Why was this attack not covered by any media source? Had this been a black church in the South, there would have been a national outcry.

What are the responsibilities of the so-called “security ministry?”. I hope you keep in mind that many of these protesters would love the opportunity to sue if a parishoner harmed a single hair on their head. Especially if there is a formal “security ministry.” And they won’t go after the churchan but the diocese, church members involved, or anything they can get their filthy hands on.

"Bash Back" is a militant (literally) homosexual organization. Not even mentioned in the article. Their name is a reference to revenge for the perceived "bashing" of homosexuals.

Civil War II continues apace.

Not directed at protesters; rather to prevent damage to the church or threats to the congregation. It helps to ward off attacks like the attempted murder of congregants during the arson of Sarah Palin's Wasilla Bible Church (which, oh-by-the-way, whatever happened with THAT investigation).

How much more of this must go on before militant homosexual activists groups are catergorized as domestic terrorist groups and brought up on Federal and State conspiracy charges?

Please add to the list if you know of other incidents.

Homosexual activists intimidate American Psychiatric Association into removing homosexulaity from it’s list of disorders.

Supporters of Proposition 8 in California have been subjected to harassment, intimidation, vandalism, racial scapegoating, blacklisting, loss of employment, economic hardships, angry protests, violence, at least one death threat, and gross expressions of anti-religious bigotry. Arguments for same-sex marriage are based fundamentally on the idea that limiting marriage to the union of husband and wife is a form of bigotry, irrational prejudice, and even hatred against homosexual persons. As this ideology seeps into the culture more generally, individuals and institutions that support marriage as the union of husband and wife risk paying a price for that belief in many legal, social, economic, and cultural contexts.

Washington State Referendum 71

“Larry Stickney, a social conservative and president of the Washington Values Alliance, says disclosure of the identities of petition-signers will enable “ideological background checks” that will have a chilling effect on political participation. He frequently encounters people who flinch from involvement with the referendum when they learn that disclosure of their involvement is possible. He has received abusive e-mails and late-night telephone calls, and has seen a stranger on his front lawn taking pictures of his house.

I am very concerned that merely allowing homosexuals to serve openly won’t satisfy the homophiles. They will also try to force persons with deeply held religious convictions that homosexuality is wrong/sin (as they hold extra maritial sex to be) to renounce, in some way, their religious views; sensitivity training et. al. The ultimate result will be to force religious conservatives (protestant and roman catholic) that won’t embrace homosexuality as “normal” from military service. The First Ammendment will be flushed down the toilet in order to let a very small minority to dominate the military. It won’t be enough to merely protect homosexuals from “harrassment”, but they will insist on only allowing persons into military service that think homosexuality is OK. If you are in the military, you won’t be able to worship in accordance with the dictates of your conscience....go to the wrong church...you are forced out of military service for being a “bigot.”
