Wow, that is really, really offensive. Saying the gospel must be invoked to push amnesty. Can you imagine if a Republican told Catholic priests to preach from their pulpits that the worth and dignity of human life requires them to pressure their congress person to outlaw abortion? The only thing I can think of is that the archbishop agrees with her on abortion, “gay marriage” and illegal aliens. Abortion is the big one, and he’s letting other Catholics know that it must not be too big a deal because there’s Nancy letting them know the archbishop really doesn’t care too much about it.

It’s the biggest scandal going in the Church today, dwarfing the homosexualist priest scandal that has been improving for 30 years.

So, how does this Catholic in Name Only get to speak at a Catholic event? The Bishops still do not get it, do they. In fact, the Bishops ARE the problem for Catholics.

As for quoting St. Francis of Assisi, some nerve. He is probably rolling over in his grave. Besides, she misquoted his intent. But why should I expect otherwise from this abortion supporter. I hope St. Francis is standing next to Jesus when Nancy arrives at the pearly gates.

Charles Krauthammer has a workable solution - based on the “Half a Loaf is Better Than None” concept ...

1. Seal the border - no virtual fence, a REAL fence [actually 2 fences]. And have these adequately patrolled. I would add - land mine the space in between.

2. Require ALL illegals currently in the US to register - those having NO criminal history, are paying taxes, etc. will get a path to citizenship after 20 years.

3. Those illegals caught who have violated laws are deported. I WOULD ADD - ANYONE CAUGHT BREACHING THE FENCE [IF NOT ALREADY BLOWN UP] WILL BE SHOT ON SIGHT AND THE CORPSE LEFT TO ROT IN THE SUN.

While this would let most of the illegals in the country to become citizens, it would shut off the flow of these roaches across our border.

NOTE: Vlad [The Impaler] had BIG trouble with invading armies, so he rounded up those he caught and impaled them on spikes at his border. Some say as many as 10,000.

Not surprisingly, he soon had no trouble with invading armies - they took one look at the corpses on spikes and turned around for home.

I'm always befuddled by the conflict if the US is going to fall or the Catholic Church or both. I've been concentrating on US problems for decades and now I'm almost certain the Church is in bigger trouble than the US. This kind of stuff just festers and grows until it is cut out like the cancer it is. I fear the average pew sitting Catholic doesn't understand what has been going on in the larger Church. My impression is these idiots are now the majority and more or less run things. Otherwise, how would these demons remain in good standing and receiving Sacraments?
