There are two separate stories with links to local news coverage.

It's been 13 years since the Rev. Jim Callan and the now Rev. Mary Ramerman split with the Roman Catholic Diocese of Rochester over a variety of practices and issues at Corpus Christi parish on East Main Street.
In a manifestly supportive profile of a local schismatic Catholic community, the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle reports that Spiritus Christi Church has about 1,500 members on the books, about 1,100 in attendance at weekend liturgies, and an incredible 700 volunteers active in one or more ministries or outreaches. The schism is led by an ordained woman and by Jim Callan, who blessed homosexual unions and distributed Communion to non-Catholics when he was a priest of the Diocese of Rochester.

In Poland, where I came from, we say "When Guest arrives, God arrives" and this is the rule by which I strive to live as a person as well as a pastor of a growing Catholic Parish of more than 500 households. We cherish our Polish roots while celebrating diversity of all who enter. All are welcome at St. Stanislaus and all are needed to spread the Good News of God's unconditional love.
The excommunicated and laicized pastor of a rebellious St. Louis parish has announced that he may found his own church. Marek Bozek said that his new independent Catholic parish will be Catholic in the way it looks, smells, and sounds.
The Archdiocese of St. Louis has filed suit to regain control of St. Stanislaus Parish, where a lay board of trustees has resisted all efforts by the archdiocese to assert control over the affairs of the parish. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch sees Bozeks announcement as the strongest evidence yet that the legal battle between the St. Louis Archdiocese and St. Stanislaus Kostka Church could soon be resolved.

Ping!
There is nothing new or unique about this guy. He’d certainly be welcomed in the “Old Catholic” tradition.

Which one? Jim Callahan or Marek Bozek?
Hed certainly be welcomed in the Old Catholic tradition.
Actually, from the first article, the "Rev." Mary Ramerman was ordained by the Old Catholic Church. That still leaves both communities in schism. And these misguided individuals now bear the responsibility of misleading their respective flocks.
“Pastor of rebellious St. Louis parish may found own church”
I always said “Old Catholicism” was where it was headed!
