I could not disagree with you more. Context or not, any child in school is being indoctrinated with DOE approved crap. So if a child decides that there needs to be some balance to this teachers religion (the religion of false science), so what!

As far as this being a hate crime, litigation is the last resort of a weak mind, and no enduring/redeeming character traits. gee it sucks to be her.

Yeah, calling it a ‘Hate Crime’ is ridiculous I agree, but lets get real here, they didn’t put a Bible on her desk because they wanted to share the love of Christ and his teachings with her, they are doing it because they want to piss her off....

This must be the week for my getting back to posting. I am a public school teacher and I think the students in this story are awesome! What sounds like extra good news is that the teacher is the one in trouble. I think it’s safe to guess this teacher has had other “issues” in the past.
