My whole life prior to 1992 was given solely over wholly to the music industry. From playing the music to that of absolutely following all aspects of the industry and culture as some of you who knew me well know. As Almighty God began to get a hold of me and started to redirect me by His Word, I began to see the evils and vices of the whole music culture and life style.
I remember saying to myself - the last day that I played in the last phase of Silent Desire (1986-1992) - I thought to myself... What are you doing? Listen to the lyrics. What are they saying? Look what the consequences of this life style and what it is doing to you and those who you care greatly about. I knew I had to leave it and I knew that Almighty God could not be honored in any way or blessed by it in my life by practicing such godlessness.
After three years of wrestling with Almighty God and His Word and trying to justify everything in my manner of living, I finally surrendered to Him and began to follow Christ as my Lord and Savior - who is the Savior of the whole World (John 3:16.17). That was in October of 1992. Since then I have been truly blessed by Almighty God. He has blessed me and has filled my soul with His Wonderful Eternal Person and with His plan and future for my life. The music and all of its party lifestyle could never fill the eternal void that possessed me. Only Almighty God can satisfy the famished soul of man (John 6).

Show me, the social redeeming value that Rock’n Roll has brought to society: especially the transformation of the many forms of rock and cultural blues of hard, heavy and grunge metal, Punk plus rap and gangster rap. And yes, I realize time has held a few artists, one or two songs and some memorable entertainment; yet the majority has deleterious effects while glorifying a counter culture and human debris on parade.
There is NONE.. I know. It promotes vice, violence, victims etc.. It is a ultra hypnotic trance damning our youth today. The average Joe is oblivious to this reality.

It is actually pretty simple. It is ugly and disorderly. Definitely not of God. Thanks for another important post.
Yesterday as I watching a movie and really noticed the background music went perfectly with the emotion the scene was trying to portray. It was like there was no other movement, sound, or piece which could have fit as precisely. This is a special emotional connection God has given us with music. It is our responsibility to use it wisely.
Don't blame the music for human frailty.
