Si informano i giornalisti accreditati che martedì 7 luglio 2009, alle ore 11.30, nell’Aula Giovanni Paolo II della Sala Stampa della Santa Sede, avrà luogo la Conferenza Stampa di presentazione dell’Enciclica del Santo Padre Benedetto XVI dal titolo: "Caritas in veritate".

Interverranno:

Em.mo Card. Renato Raffaele Martino, Presidente del Pontificio Consiglio della Giustizia e della Pace;

Em.mo Card. Paul Josef Cordes, Presidente del Pontificio Consiglio "Cor Unum";

S.E. Mons. Giampaolo Crepaldi, Segretario del Pontificio Consiglio della Giustizia e della Pace;

Prof. Stefano Zamagni, Professore ordinario di Economia Politica all’Università di Bologna, Consultore del Pontificio Consiglio della Giustizia e della Pace.

(L’Enciclica è da considerarsi sotto embargo fino alle ore 12 di martedì 7 luglio. Per le agenzie, embargo anche di trasmissione.

PRESS CONFERENCE FOR TUESDAY 7 JULY 2009

This informs accredited journalists Tuesday 7 July 2009, at 11:30 am, in the John Paul II Press Room of the Holy See, will be a Press Conference for the presentation of the Encyclical of the Holy Father Benedict XVI entitled "Caritas in veritate ".

Speakers:

His Eminence Cardinal Renato Raffaele Martino, President of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace;

His Eminence Cardinal Paul Josef Cordes, president of the Pontifical Council "Cor Unum";

Bishop Giampaolo Crepaldi, secretary of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace;

Prof. Stefano Zamagni, Professor of Economics at the University of Bologna, Consultor of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace.

(The encyclical is to be considered under embargo until 12 noon on Tuesday, July 7. For the agencies, including embargo of transmission. The text of the encyclical - in Italian, French, English, German, Portuguese and Spanish - will be available to accredited journalists, starting from 9.00 on Tuesday, 7 July 2009.)

There is already a hole in the Encyclicals page for this new work to be placed.

Expect the spin to start at 9:05 Central European Time on 7 July. Please withhold judgment until you have a chance to read the document for yourselves (after all, how often does the MSM get anything right about the Church?)
