Proverbs 10:4-5

4 A slack hand causes poverty, but the hand of the diligent makes rich. 5 He who gathers in summer is a prudent son, but he who sleeps in harvest is a son who brings shame.

These are always great. I love the poetry, sometimes soaring, of the King James Bible.

“Good News for Modern Man” although perhaps more “accessible” was downright dour.

Of course, God’s message behind them all is the point.

Thanks for posting that Proverb. I am adding it to my scripture journal. On a day when I worked nearly 12 hours, it was nice to have that Proverb brought to my attention. Notice, I still made time tonight to check out FR, always time for that!
