America’s Prayer Network calls for two weeks of prayer, fasting and repentance

America’s Independent Party Chairman Tom Hoefling, in conjunction with America’s Prayer Network, called today for two weeks of prayer, fasting and repentance to begin on Tuesday, January 6th, culminating in a national day of prayer and repentance on January 20th.

Citizens in every city and town in the United States are being asked to gather in homes, churches, businesses, and public places to humbly seek God’s mercy as our nation enters a new and dangerous era.

“America’s promise cannot be renewed by those who do not understand that promise.” Hoefling said. “America’s hope for security and prosperity is not in Washington, DC, or in politicians who have abandoned America’s moral premise. Our only hope is in God, and in a revival of commitment to prayer and active righteousness by His people. We cannot be a shining city on a hill without the Light. While those who don’t understand the true source of America’s power throw a party to celebrate their temporary earthly ascendancy, let us seek the One Power that truly governs in the affairs of men.”
