My big question for folks who hesitate to (I’m not going to say JUDGE, I’m going to say discern. There is a difference. One is done in the flesh, the other in the spirit.) Christ himself told us to test the spirits, saying that many would come in HIS NAME.
I have watched the videos of Bentley. Not just those from critics, but those “official” videos. And I have a hard time believing that he is acting in the way of Christ. I just can’t imaging Christ rolling on the ground, shaking his head and babbling like an idiot. Sounds more like the possessed man He encountered and HEALED by driving “Legion” out and into the pigs.
Not only that, but angels are not to be worshipped. They have specific purposes as outlined by scripture.
This teaching is all extra-Biblical. Of course, if you don’t want to listen to any of this, and say that it is a new revelation...there is that pesky little scripture about not adding to or removing anything from God’s gospel. Not one jot nor tittle. And then there’s a pretty severe punishment for doing that.
We’re so hesitant to “judge” this “revival” — I ask: “Would you not lovingly correct your child if you saw them in sin?” Or would that be JUDGING them?
(BTW, I’m posting on less than 1/2 cup of coffee, so be kind! LOL)
Nothing more entertaining that Christians trying to out Christian each other.

Sigh. Very true. I have a friend who goes to a church and they were visited by an affiliate church’s pastor who has been to Florida 3 times already. His wife visited my friend’s woman’s Bible study and prayer meeting and started laughing uncontrollably saying that God was moving on the meeting. It was out of order and the focus was no longer on prayer and God’s word. My friend was so distracted and appalled she didn’t know what to say. I’m sending her these articles in hopes they will help her to share the truth or she may be looking elsewhere too.

I’ve had to start turning the volume down when/if I watch more of their antics. I really started feeling spiritual oppression. After pryaer, I knew I needed to NOT hear much of what he says.
Ha ha. Ya similar situation here. Even my beloved peers have itching ears and they’ve all bee belivers far longer than I !
