ProLife Prayer and Worship, April 13

This week I want to start out using this devotional and another that have come to me by email. I think they both are key to the reason for this weekly prayer thread.

"That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me." (John 17:21)

It's time we, as believers, began to enter into the oneness Jesus prayed for in John 17:21. It's time we held onto one another in good times as well as bad. It's time we realized that we need one another.

We do, you know. I need your faith as much as you need mine. Together, we can face anything and win in Jesus.

Let me show you why. In John 3:34, God says Jesus was given the Holy Spirit without measure. He was more powerful than all the demons of hell and all wicked spirits of all classes, including Satan himself. He was able to defeat their power combined.

Now consider this. We are His Body. Each of us has been given the measure of faith according to Romans 12:1-3. That measure is enough to take care of our own personal needs. However, there is more involved here than just our own personal lives.

We have a world to win! We are the end-time generation. We need all the help we can get. But, thank God, we can get all the help we need!

How? By joining together. Ephesians 4:13 says that when we all come together in the unity of the faith, we'll have "the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ."

In other words, when the Body of Christ comes together and begins to function as one, we'll have the Holy Spirit without measure--just like Jesus did! We'll begin to see ministries functioning in the fullness of their callings. We'll begin to see manifestations of the Holy Spirit in full measure. We'll see Jesus in fullness as we've never seen Him before.

Step into that oneness today. Start today making a daily effort to make yourself available to God to pray for others. Start your day by saying, "Holy Spirit, use me to pray for someone today. I offer You my measure of faith."

Once we truly join together in faith, all the demons of hell won't be able to overcome us. We'll march right over them in the fullness of the power of Jesus and bring the age to a glorious close!

You have been looking at your problem from beneath the problem. Don’t do that. You need to see the problem from My point of view seated in heavenly places with Me. You are a believer and are in My kingdom. You believe in My power to overcome. If you view the problem just from the position of being in the world it will always be over your head. If you see it from the position of being seated in heavenly places and you being with Me, that will give you the understanding that it is under My feet thus under your feet. My power has already overcome. See it from above. Ephesians 2:4-6 “But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.”

Heavenly Father, we thank you for lives of the unborn that have been saved this week by efforts of Your children across the country. Father, continue to bless those efforts, strengthen and encourage, protect those who are standing at the "Wall" for you, be it in prayer, as sidewalk counselors, or other means of intervention. Lord grant wisdom to legislators, that they may know Your heart, and bring forth legislation that will end abortion throughout our country. Father we ask that You will unify the movement and Your children in our work against the demons of death. Give a clarity of vision to us as we seek Your heart and how to carry out Your work. Father we know there is a current struggle in South Dakota, as Satan is using his strategy of division. Lord, bring about some way to unify, and give all there a clarity of vision to see Your TRUTH. We come before You humbly asking for Your mercy, that You will hear the cries of Your children, spare our country and turn the hearts back to You, in Jesus Name.

Heavenly Father, raise up a Presidential candidate that will stand firmly on Your Word, who will seek Your Truth and none of his own. Father, against all odds, place this person at the head of our country to bring it back to You, granting him Your leading and Your wisdom. May the week's events bring glory to Your name! IN Jesus Name, Amen! Hallelujah! Thank you Jesus!

Heavenly Father and Mighty Lord, Ruler of the Universe, Creator, Sanctifier and Redeemer,
You are the only Lord, You are the only God, You are our one and only. Heavenly Father with all Your power, with all Your supremacy, yet still You are LOVE. There is nothing in You that is not love and there is no one of us who You do not love with an everlasting LOVE. Father God all life is through You, by You, in You by the power of Your Holy Spirit. There is no life outside You and there is no life of less value than another. Father God, each life You have purposed and each life is equally, infinitely loved from the moment it begins. Lord God, our life’s purpose is found in You, reflecting Your character by the work of Your Spirit within us – regardless of our circumstances. Yes, we dwell on earth temporarily in these fleshly shells, however, all of us are destined for eternity if we will just spend this time on earth to seek and find You (and with Jesus our way back home to You for eternity). Father God, You use each one of us who will serve as Your ambassadors to re-present who You are to those around us so they, in turn, can find their way back home to You. Lord God, You delight to do things differently than the world’s wisdom, because Your ways are Supreme. Where the world says there are lives which can be “ruined” and lives of less worth, You say each of us has eternal purpose and no life is ever “ruined” regardless of circumstances unless in the end we have not found You. Lord God – no ruined lives – all lives of purpose, revealing You especially when our life’s circumstances don’t line up with the world’s wisdom. Father God, we thank You for EVERY life You have purposed and we ask YOU to protect them from those who would try to decide in their human wisdom whether their lives have worth. Lord God, the enemy seeks to destroy; You give life and give it in fullness and abundantly. By our worship - by our adoration and acknowledgement of who and how You are -, by our prayers, increase Your presence in our midst and stop the aggressor in his tracks. The pro-life movement was purposed by You! Protect it! We ask YOU to move in a way in response to our worship which helps it to unify. The division in it is NOT of You. We ask You to unify all believers who are involved for this purpose. Give the movement YOUR strategy. Make it clear! Open and close the doors in Your Sovereignty. Make the way. We rely on You. You are our only hope. All involved are doing everything in their power to move toward a God-honoring culture of life, but human power is worthless without YOU behind it. Lord God, do the work. We will pray. We will worship and we promise to follow where You lead. In Jesus’ mighty Name, Amen
