See Who's Receiving Communion in San Francisco

A Catholic parish in San Francisco has been classified alongside graphic San Francisco sex-fest sponsor Miller Brewing after officials served Communion to members of the ultra anti-Catholic "Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence," whose mockery of Christianity is legend in the city.

The service was captured on video by a member of the Catholic group St. Joseph's Men Society, and it has been made available Catholic blogsite Quamdiu Domine.

"I doubt that even Judas would have done such a perverse thing as this," said Anthony Gonzales, president of the men's organization. "Not only did [Archbishop George] Niederauer sell out our Lord for human respect but deliberately crucified Him again within the very sanctuary of the church that he was consecrated to protect. If Rome does not remove him immediately from his position and excommunicate him for this evil, then Rome itself becomes complicit in the crime. Enough is enough!"

The archbishop told LifeSiteNews he didn't notice anything unusual about the members of the congregation to whom he served Communion.

This Archbishop, and you, make me weep for the Church.

So much potential and promise just being thrown away in favor of denial and anger.

God help us.

“This parish obviously strives to serve it’s parishoners and it’s a difficult thing, seeing as we Catholics are big on reconciliation and redemption. It’s not for the priest to impose his own views on the sinfulness of those who come with head bowed for Communion. It really is up to us to examine our conscience and determine whether we are worthy to partake.”

We have been tasked with going out among the sinners, right? In that respect is is proper to serve those in the community. I don’t believe its proper to condone and sponsor sinful behavior. Love the sinner but hate the sin.

I admire you as you are the only one here who seems to see that the hatred and anger is being directed ( with vulgarity and rudeness) toward driftdiver and not at those who are making a mockery of what Roman Catholics believe.

“You are an incredibly poor defender of your faith?”

who asked you?
and who are you to be judging me?
And don’t FReep mail me.
If you don’t have the courage to post in the open,
then don’t waste my time with your FReep mail.

Thank you. I was not trying to condemn Catholics, only trying to say I wasn’t a Catholic. I find it terribly offensive that this kinda of perversion is happening at anything resembling a Christian entity. Your word “mockery” is the perfect description of what is happening.

Thanks. Sadly the only thing that had to be photoshopped was Pelosi’s face and hammer (sickle in her hidden hand).

LOL, I missed the hammer (actually, it looks like a gavel).
Subtle, I like that!

Actually, I mailed you before I posted #39. I was offering you a friendly warning that you were going to open this up to a great deal of ugly fact about that particular parish/diocese.
You do not seem to be able to act logically or calmly.
You are attacking the people who are offended by the, I believe it might be considered, scandal created by the clergy who participate in this evil.

And as to your juvenile question: you asked me.
You posted in a public forum.
If you think you are somehow immune to comment and criticism perhaps you ought not participate.

“you, make me weep for the Church?”

you don’t know me from Adam
and you sure as hell don’t know what I have done for the Catholic Church, Catholicism, Catholics and humanity in my lifetime.
So you know what you can do with your “weeping”...

Thanks for that...but I can’t for the life of me see what driftdiver said to merit all this attention, other than remembering a story *that turned out to be true*.

If there was something else in the deleted comment I didn’t see it, but even if so, this ain’t a theological thread. This is a thread about a depraved and pitiable group of fetishistic losers who dress like they’re headed to Caligula’s house for a Halloween party.

“Perpetual indulgence” is what they seek? Well, I’m sure Old Scratch will be quite willing to indulge them. Perpetually.

and maybe you and your little Catholic bashing friends should read the rules.

“You are an incredibly poor defender of your faith?”

” NO personal attacks...in posts.”

Open it up, my friend. This IS a scandal.

I've said it before on this forum, if there's a parish out there that is actively aiding and abetting this kind of depravity from the top, the bishop needs to put the entire parish under the Interdict.

You gotta get medieval on people like these. Good thing is, we're Catholic, we wrote the BOOK on medieval! ;)

As usual, the anti-Catholic bigots crawl out of the gutter and with their wide brushes smearing the entire Roman Catholic Church, Catholics, Catholicism and its 2000 year history with all kinds of ridiculous accusations and misinformation.

Of course, we Catholics are not worried and are prepared; as Jesus told us,
we will be vilified, persecuted and martyred for our belief.

Plainly you are one of those Roman Catholics who seems to hear the message at the Mass.

“If there was something else in the deleted comment I didn’t see it, but even if so, this ain’t a theological thread.”

I have no idea what I said that was so offensive as to result in it being deleted. Thats the first time I’ve ever had a post deleted. I was only trying to say I wasn’t Catholic and didn’t believe what Catholic’s believe.

I am a Christian and find what is happening in San Fran extremely offensive. Every Christian, regardless of denomination, should be offended. Not all people here are what they seem.

I’ve been to a few Catholic weddings and funerals. I find the tradition fascinating. I would also love to get in the basement of the Vatican and look at all of the historical items stored there.

Kellynla, God bless your zeal for Holy Mother Church. But I really do think this is one of those times for the virtue of prudence. Nobody was going out of their way to attack the Church here. Driftdiver made a comment based on a story he remembered which turned out to be substantially accurate. I've read over his posts, and I really don't recognize the "anti-Catholic bigot" that you describe.

I don't want to lessen your fiery devotion to the Church one iota, I would simply ask you to consider directing at the sickos depicted above rather than our friends here on FR. They're with us on this. And we need all the friends we can get.
