I have never seen this icon before. I took a look at the website and found it quite informative. The iconographer writes his icons with a eye to Latin theology and in a style which clearly owes a lot to Western realism. One of the icons, "The Vision at Lourdes" shows the Theotokos with a full body mandilora which is a very rare form in Orthodox iconography. Off the top of my head, I can think of only two, a certain one of the Resurrection and another of +Symeon the New Theologian.
I have seen other Western icons but they seem very political. These are quite nice, in a Western sort of way! :)

Heh. You Orthodox are pikers. :)
Like this one below? I can understand some lefty Anglicans in England or revisionist Episcopalians here in the States doing such a thing but the person who created this abomination as well as others of Eistein, Martin Luther King, Gandhi, etc. etc. is a fellow named Br. R. Lentz, ofm. People have written to complain about him and the heresy he peddles apparently with the sanction of his superiors, but there has been no answer to my knowledge. I must tell you that when Orthodox Christians see these terrible things and discover they are coming from a friar whom we understand to be under obedience to an abbot in the Latin Church, we naturally get rather concerned. On the other hand, we have our heretics too.
How offensive and badly rendered. He looks like he is giving the finger. Pardon me, but that's how it appears. I liked Romulus' posting of the Divine Mercy iconographically styled image. V's wife
I'll tell you what's worse, V's wife. The Greek says "Saint Caesar"!
Otherwise the caucus holds and everyone who is not a member of the caucus is in the other guy's church and should act accordingly.
Yes, yes... blah blah...
You are a day late.
I trust you are well, RM?
Yes I am well and I just received a Freepmail saying that you are a wonderful guest on these threads, so please ignore my (belated) last.
PLEASE PULL THIS POST.
I didn't notice this was a caucus thread.
Sorry.
