I just rcv'd this email from a dear family friend:
Dear Friends and Family,
My mom just called with an urgent prayer request for my brother Paul and his pregnant wife Lynette. What I have been told is that she has a disease called "Fatty Liver of Pregnancy" and that the doctors may consider delivering the baby n sometime within the next few weeks without much hope of the baby surviving. The baby is due the end of June. What my parents have been told is the baby would probably not make it if Lynette carried her to term and it would destroy Lynette's liver to continue the pregnancy. Please pray for healing and wisdom for everyone involved. I cannot imagine the choices that my brother and the doctor's are going to have to make. The agony of it all. I know that God is sovereign and not even this is surprising him. Please PLEASE pray for them. Pray for a healing for Lynette and strength for the baby and all involved. My brother and I are not on great terms, but he is asking me to pray, that is amazing. I do not know the condition of my brother's spiritual heart but I pray it is turning back to God.
Any words of encouragement or hope I will certainly pass along to them.

Miracles happen every day. We'll be praying for another one now for Lynette, Paul and their baby.
God will reveal His will. All 5 of my pregnancies were high risk. Fortunately, 3 of my babies made it. My last, in my 40s, was touch and go throughout. I'd already had a bought of cancer and there was a chance it could come back. They said my son would likely have severe genetic abnormalities, most particularly heart defects. I let the Lord guide me, and in my soul, He said, "Hang in there."
I made it. My son is perfect. I am very blessed.
I have an idea what they are going through, and it's torturous, indeed!
**Dear God, please, You have All Power in Your heavenly hands. Heal this loving mother and protect this precious child from harm. Let both of them serve as witness to Your healing grace, and bring others to know and serve You and Christ, our Lord.**

Praying here in TX for God's will to be done for Paul and Lynette and their precious baby ... Lord, wrap this family in Your loving arms and let them know Thy Peace. TIA

O All-Merciful Christ our God, look down and protect this woman, Thy handmaiden, from fear and from evil spirits that seek to destroy the work of Thy hands. And when her hour and time is come, deliver her by Thy grace.
Look with compassionate eye and deliver her, Thy handmaiden, from pain. Lighten her infirmity in the time of her travail and grant her fortitude and strength for birth giving, and hasten it by Thine almighty help.
For this is Thy glorious work, the power of Thine omnipotence, the work of Thy grace and tender-heartedness.

Even if she delivered the baby this week, there is a good chance for the child's survival. There is SO much that modern medicine can do for preemies these days! My nephew's wife went into labor and delivered their daughter at 28 weeks, and Maddie is thriving a year and a half later!
Yeah, it could be touch and go, but I pray God's blessings on this new family!
I pray they find a doctor who has an abundance of hope.
