If you missed Glenn Beck's "Gloat Fest 2004," you might not get it.
This is meant to be taken in the same spirit. Anyone able to help?
You, guitar-boy singing Kumbaya at Mass. I hope Pope Benedict smashes that guitar over your head so hard you will be unable to speak except to sing Gregorian Chant.
You, sister social-worker. You took vows to serve God, not John Dewey. Get a clue, or else. Capiche?
You, stewie the seminarian. You walk funny and talk with a lisp. You belong on Broadway, not in a Sanctuary. Buh, bye.
To all Seminaries on the planet. There exists a 1961 law forbiding admittance of homosexuals. They can't be ordained. It's over kids. Reform the seminaries today or else. Capiche?
To all the humanists, to all the homosexuals, to all heretics within the Church, to virtually all the AmBishops ROTFLMAO
Your worst nightmares are realized. LOL
1)Glenn Beck's "GloatFest 2004" was a hilarious tongue-in-cheek stab at the whining liberals who were apoplectic over the reelection of GWB. If it wasn't so darn hilarious and tongue-in-cheek, some could have said it was uncharitable. But it was all in good fun.
2) This "Gloating" is only meant in humor, let's all be good boys and girls.
3)Originally, I thought Gloat Fest 2005 should only last the first 24 hours after the naming of Pope Nenedict XVI, then we should return to our customary meek humble and charitable postings in defense of our Faith.
But I didn't get this graphic till now, so "Gloat Fest 2005" has officially been extented, by special Dispensation (Bull?), an additional 24 hours.
You are being pinged because you previously requested to be added to my personal "orthodox Catholics" ping list. If you would like to be added or removed, please send me a FReepmail. --Dr. Brian Kopp (Polycarp IV)
guilty pleasure bump.
Ain't it the truth?
Many thanks to Indigoding0 for excecuting the graphic! Welcome to the Forum!
Gloat away.
It's Schadenfreudalicious.
what a great idea for a thread : )
Dearest Heterodox AmChurchies,
Behold, here cometh Benedict the Doombringer!
LOL! Richard McBrien did look and sound on his recent TV appearances like he might really be worried about whether he will have a job in a week or two. Panic is spreading through the liberal ranks! LOVE IT!
I love the sound of gnashing of teeth in the morning...
I love it. You just know they have been waiting patiently for years for John Paul II to die so they could get a really liberal pope and instead they get Benedict The Scourge of Liberals.
I am become Benedict XVI, Destroyer of Liberals.
MUWAHAHAhahahahaha!
Don't miss the graphic, post #3!
I tuned into the Today Show this morning just to watch the libs squirm. Joy of joys! - They were going to interview McCarrick and Greeley. This'll be terrific fun, I thought. But both were so gracious, I had a horrible thought. Now I know I'm getting paranoid in my old age, but the thought crossed my mind that Pope Benedict could be a sort of Manchurian candidate, and now that he's elected we'll start seeing his true liberal colors.
If today I see McBrien being gracious, I'm really going to panic.
You are not the only one, I advise cautious optimism.
LOL! OK, I shall await the internet rumors that the secret societies replaced Ratzinger with a double or android robot! Of course, it's not implausible that a wild secular humanist liberal wacko might PRETEND to be conservative until his dramatic moment of glory to usher in the godless secular humanist reign of error.
A truly frightening thought.
You should read his writings...check out his past actions and you'll know that he's going to be the panzerpapst....
Time to rally round the cross! The culture war is on.
Back during the Vatican Council, Ratzinger was considered liberal compared to his cohorts. He has remained the same, (maybe is moving to the right a smidge, with the wisdom of old age). The rest of the world (cardinals included) has just moved the liberal/conservative dividing line way to the left, making Ratzinger appear very conservative by comparison.
The unfolding drama should prove quite interesting. When you combine conservative European Catholics with American pro-life religious conservatives...that's a big chunk of humanity there.
