ahhhh then,
happy that I still quite agree with you!
Thanks.
THANKS.
Interesting prophecy.
I've seen enough of this ilk, I do expect some fulfillment and probably more than we could currently guess at.
You can post the whole thing in this thread, if you wish. That way people don't have to bother going off-site.
Bill Yount's stuff is often on Bill Somers' site.
You seem like a devout, knowledgeable Christian. We'd probably agree on 90% of the important things in life. And that's quite a bit.
Doctrine aside, I believe God really and truly wants His sheep to understand the Shepherd. I believe God really and truly loves His flock, with a love so deep and exquisite He became human and assumed our wretchedness and died to save us from it.
"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." -- John 15:13.
This is why we always must hold military service and sacrifice as valorous and worthy of our lasting gratitude. Life is all we have, and for one man to relinquish his in place of another is as close to sacred as men can get outside of church.
Thus we can only imagine how great is the compassion of Christ who laid down His life for us; how deep is the "fathomless profound" of God.
A love like that does not hide itself, nor play games. A love like that is clear, focused, real, and most importantly, it accomplishes what it sets out to do.
If we lived a 1,000 years, maybe we'd have some time for celestial crossword puzzles. But life really is short, and filled with important, tangible, God-given tasks -- read Scripture, preach the Gospel, repent of our sins, help our fellow man, raise strong children who kneel to Christ alone, make the earth into a garden to reflect His glory, battle infidels and never waiver, always secure in His promise.
Those are clear directives from God, each one found in Scripture. Those are all the "messages" we need to live our lives fruitfully, happily and gracefully.
To look for more is vanity, and IMO, a prideful affront to His assurance...
"These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." -- John 16:33.
Well said . . .
except that . . .
HE is the One who exhorted us to watch, be ready, be alert to and knowledgeable about the signs of the times and their fulfillment.
And those things change your life how?
Christians should live every second of our lives as if it was our last moment on earth.
That's "being ready."
Well said, Dr. E. I don't always succeed, but I try.
I figure if I'm not going to be ready, the how, when and why take on a little less significance.
QUITE SO.
Have endeavored to for decades. Increasingly succeeded at it in as much has lain within me! By His Grace, of course.
No, He didn't. He told His 1st centry disciples to watch for all the events leading up to the destruction of the temple in AD70. That was time limited to "this generation" (which is easy to verify be comparing how the phrase "this generation" is consistently used in the gospels).
He told the rest of us to be ready while we go about our busines serving Him.
"But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is. It is like a man going to a far country, who left his house and gave authority to his servants, and to each his work, and commanded the doorkeeper to watch. Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming--in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning-- lest, coming suddenly, he find you sleeping. And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!" (Mark 13)
(Notice the change of subject from "these things" and "this generation" in v. 30 to "that day and hour". If all of "these things" applied to the "servants" in that parable, how could anyone be sleeping while "these things" are going on around them? It makes no logical sense.)
We are not to be found sleeping, but, as servants, doing the work the Master has assigned to us.
Amen.
TASTE AND SEE THAT THE LORD IS GOOD!

I sense the Father saying, I will begin to meddle in the candy industry.
To which someone commented:
"After reading this, its time for the true prophets to rise up and rebuke this nonsense and word association games. Prophecy is not Charismatic Charades where we guess four words", sounds like", starts with", rhymes with", etc. Prophecy is exact, direct, encourages, and edifies the church. Everybody that is revolutionary is not a prophet. Everything that is new is not a prophecy nor necessarily a fulfillment of prophecy."
From and Internet blog comment about this "amazing" Bill Yount "prophecy". Even the "real" pseudo-prophets have a problem with the "false" pseudo-prophets.
Ever read in Scripture where the HS points to Himself? Just one way to recognize great error. Nor will the HS ever kindle fire from Heaven with a false priest. It's fire, but it's a strange fire
I heard the Lord say to the angels. "I am releasing a "match-maker" anointing upon the earth. Romance will begin to mingle with these "singles."
JESUS IS COMING
EVERYBODY LOOK BUSY
Heh...I am, I'm late for a cast call...
Evidently Corinthians 14 has been a challenge?
No it doesn't. Speculating there is no God is meaningless for your argument because you have no proof to offer me or anyone else here. Me telling you that the End Times will happen either tomorrow, next week, or a thousand years from now, is not speculation because one just has to look in the Bible for proof. We don't know when it's going to occur, but it will occur.
No more so than Deuteronomy 18:20-22 has been, I'd wager.
Ignore the Lord. That's the easiest way and the only bit of advice I can tell you to be ill-prepared.
