A lot of us not in Cally Fornia have been watching this thing, we have to, with great interest. My observation is that this Davis guy will be out for one reason......he hit you people in the pocket book just too many times.

When, oh when?, are the stupid liberals going to get it?

Maybe, just maybe, this is a little chip, chip.

Not counting on it. Afterall, this is Cally Fornia.

Best of luck to you all tomorrow. This can truly be a message to the rest of the US Liberals (Socialists), that everyone has HAD IT with their attitude.

Return America to the People. GO CALLY FORNIA.

You're giving the Times too much credit.

Hope you're right, but I don't think so. I think they're smart enough to know that the races (both recall and guv) aren't close enough for the 5-day surprise to work.

Arnold ain't perfect but he's a start at breaking the stranglehold that the liberals have on the State of California.

People outside California do not understand how terrible the situation is here.

After we break the stranglehold, we can then give candidates more conservative than Arnold a chance to win statewide elections.

It would be a huge defeat for our political system if the sort of outrageous smear campaign we've seen by the Dems and the LA Times this past week wins the day.

These people must be defeated.

If you have a neighbor who is voting Democrat, tonight might be a good time to borrow the valve stems from his tires.

We know you're kidding, but this is exactly the kind of thing the Rats will allege tomorrow evening when Davis is losing.

The RATS have this uncanny knack of bringing us together in the end. They are masters of overplay...and fortunately are extremely adept at turning people off with their zealous hatred of everything that is not themselves.

It's ironic that we think them, at times, so invincible.

The Fat Lady is singing (no, not you Jim!) and a new day is about to dawn in California. The spin machine should be most entertaining, and Hillary is calling in the remodelers to create room in Chappaquidick to store enough Bo-tox to get her to '08.

Thank you for this post at this time, and for your thoughtful leadership on this forum. I'm not a Californian, but the issues you raise surely affect us all.

Arnold supports abortion and gay marriage

He says on his campaign website that he believes marriage should only be between a man and a woman. Please stop spreading bad information.

I never read an LA Times article in toto because they ask for name and password. I will never register to read tripe.

I'd like to read about an earth shift tomorrow in California and I'm not talking about an earthquake.

You all of these references to "damn the principles" are really presumptious.

The flaw in your argument is that someone who votes for Arnold is going against YOUR principles, not theirs. Obviously, conservatives who support Arnold see it as a principled act to vote for the candidate who will actually stand a chance to win the election so that he will be in a position to push liberalism back, if only a little.

By voting Arnold, those people are standing by THEIR principles, and frankly, YOUR principles are and should be meaningless to them.

VERY, VERY, VERY STRONGLY AGREE.

EXCEEDINGLY WELL PUT.

Thanks.

Sounds like you may have been there, done that and have more T-shirts to show . . . or scars . . . than you'd care to admit.

If not--then your wisdom exceeds your experience.
