It seems to me that acknowleging that you are pro-abortion is a far cry from saying you are "pro choice." Even the most ardent feminists hesitate to acknowledge that they are pro-abortion, since a large number of pro-choice advocates abhor abortion for themselves and their families.
For a governor to be pro abortion is, of course, ominous, since the question will arise as to whether the state should increase state funding of abortions.
I give Arnold credit, at least, for being honest. Most pro-choice candidates would never have the courage to admit they are pro abortion. I see nothing inconsistent between his admiration for abortion and his admiration for Hitler.

Finally an honest politician. All the pro-choicers are pro-aborts.

Oh, please. Semantics. He was answering the question. Okay, then, at the very least it illustrates his inexperience in the political arena. If he is not pro-abortion, then he should quickly have corrected Jennings. Instead, he just said yes.
Governors are required to understand the nuances of various issues. If this candidate doesn't, there is a conservative candidate in the race who does.

The Republicans' abandonment of their few remaining principles in this race is just sad.

the 'admiration' for Hitler thing was all lies, keep up with the news Untrue. He said he admired Hitler's speaking ability but not what he did with it. He was excoriated for even this much by Kristol and Krauthammer this morning on Fox News Sunday.

He just may not be fast enough on his feet to correct Snuffleupagus' question before answering.

As the comments on this thread will no doubt illustrate, even the radical VRC types here clearly do not care. Much of what passes for "principle" here on Free Republic is evidently of a piece with the "for the children" rhetoric the Dems spew.
To: John Jorsett
Snuffleupagus' question It was Peter Jennings' question.
Okay, I'll grant he's either stupid or evil. Either way, I'd go with McClintock, who is neither.

Yet again, proving he's not a politican. Well, that's a good thing.
If you are going to have someone in political office, it is best to have someone who says what he means instead of hiding behind euphemisms.

I think your word mincer needs to be recalibrated. There is no difference between being 'pro choice' and 'pro abortion', inasmuch as they refer to the exact same thing.
The term 'choice' is simply a gentle sounding euphamism for 'abortion', which is a gentle sounding version of 'killing unborn children'. Saying that you are 'pro choice' is the exact same as saying you are 'in favor of killing unborn children'.
As Shakespeare said, "Few love to hear the sins they love to act"
That having been said, the linguistical nuance may have escaped Arnold in this interview, but his position is no different than being 'pro choice'. Since you added the requisite McNaderite 'Hitler lovin' Nazi' jab, I'm assuming you think that Arnold is impling he's pro eugenics as well. Don't let me interrupt the mudslinging, I just wanted to throw in my 2 cents.
