[history]
Fed up with a stranger she thought had been spying on her for months, Hannah Arbuckle didn't hesitate when she saw him outside her Kessler Boulevard home.
She chased him, police say, and jumped into the bed of his pickup as he sped away.

One of my friends daughter had a problem with this guy that kept jumping over her fence and peeking in the windows. He always did it at night and she'd see him and call the police but he would be gone by the time they got there.
I had an extra 12 gauge pistol grip shotgun I gave her. Her dad showed her how to use it. Well, the guy comes back some night and he starts going from window to window. When he comes to one window a friend of hers yanks the blinds open while my friends daughter pumps a shell into the 12 guage and puts it right in his face against the glass.
He got the point. He never came back.

Braun was released on bail Friday morning, but Arbuckle is confident she'll be safe.I would like to think they omitted the statement where she said She'll fill him full of lead the next time he shows up.

"Braun was released on bail Friday morning"
...and she still feels safe? My advice to her is to start "carrying" at least until this creep is locked up again.

It seems to me that thick curtains and venetian blinds would be a good defense against window peepers. I don't think anyone can see in our windows at all.

You better be careful about doing things like this. The peeping in bad, but you really don't want a teenager to kill someone over it. She'll always regret that. She'll probably also go to prison.
Teaching her to close the blinds would be better.
To: The Other Harry
She was an adult. She had been trained how to use the shotgun by her father and an NRA certified instructor. She was not going to shoot him unless he came into the house.
I had a document drawn up by an attorney regarding the transfer of the firearm and a release for me from any liability.
The police were called after the incident and they made a report. After the incident a "funny" thing happened, there was a sudden drop off in the number of peeping in windows in the neighborhood by a large black man.
Thanks for the advise that I "better be careful" but I was careful. The peeper is now too.
