PINSON, Ala. (AP) -- A Pinson man was charged with attempted murder for holding a gun to his son's head and pulling the trigger in the midst of a tantrum after Alabama's double overtime loss to Arkansas Saturday, authorities said.

Dang I live in Pinson. I'm a Bama fan and both my kids graduated Auburn. I wouldn't point my gun at my kids or your kids. But my question is, "Since my kids went to Auburn would I be more justified if I chose to act violent toward them?"
