MUSLIM APOCALYPTIC WRITERS INDICATE FUTURE STRIKES ON NEW YORK AND VATICAN

Muslim apocalyptic writers indicate that the long-term targets of terrorism will continue to be Washington and New York -- along with the Vatican.

This is apparent from recent Islamic literature that focuses on what many Muslims believe is a coming anti-christ-like figure called the Dajjal, who will supposedly spring up from the U.S. and "Greater Israel," defined by many Muslims as worldwide Jewish influence propelled by the United States. They see endless mishaps for America and its largest city, from nuclear war to natural calamities by which -- in the words of one of the writers, Muhammad `Isa Da'ud -- "the sea will swallow up New York."

"There can be no doubt of the profound hostility entertained by Muslim apocalyptic writers towards the United States, and their intense desire to humiliate it and see it destroyed forever," notes David Cook of the University of Chicago.

In chilling references that predate September 11, Muslim philosophers -- including at least one said to have influenced Bin Laden -- have used terms like "partial strike" and link it to the war over Kuwait as well as the immorality they saw as flourishing in the West, especially under the Clinton Administration. In a bizarre rendering of symbols, Muslim apocalypticists have cited Jeremiah 50:2 and 51:44, where the figure of "Bel" (a Babylonian god) is "punished in Babylon." They connect "Bel" to "Bill" Clinton.

But it isn't just Bill Clinton; the venom is spread wide and far. According to one scenario set forth by Muslim apocalypticist Bashir Muhammad 'Abdallah, the first battle of the End Times was the Kuwait War of 1991, which he refers to as the Third World War as he links America to "the Masons and other secret Jewish organizations."

In Muslim apocalyptic literature, America is associated with "Ad," a city whose destruction is detailed in the Koran. Ad was an advanced civilization, according to Cook, who has studied the Muslim apocalyptic interpretations and quotes Abdallah as seeing Ad as a civilization that "could predict weather and possessed other advanced technology.

"They had advanced weaponry and organized sports and cultural events," Cook writes, summarizing the Muslim beliefs regarding the evil power they had to overthrow. "These, however, were merely for pleasure, not for the purpose of glorifying God. Their buildings were skyscrapers [speaking of their capital, Iram dhat al-`Imad], just as in New York."

Therefore, says Abdallah, "America deserves now, according to the sunna of God regarding the punishment of nations, a partial strike like that which caught Ad." In the matter of earthquakes or khasfs, says Cook, the Muslim apocalyptic writers believe America will be targeted "and specifically New York City, which is called the 'great Babylon.'"

But if such literature is predictive of where terrorists -- believing they are doing God's bidding -- may also strike, other cities may bear similar concerns. In future apocalyptic scenarios the writers see missiles destroying a total of "five American cities," says Cook.

Time and again, reference is made to the war with Iraq over Kuwait -- which ironically now figures so prominently into the current presidency of former President Bush's son. New York is focused upon by Muslim fanatics because "there are more Jews than in other places, and in it is their wealth, their banks, their political foundations which control the entire world, so there is no evil greater than in New York in any other place on the inhabited earth, and for this reason their portion of the punishment will be greater in measure and it will be a total uprooting," notes Cook in his splendid scholarship.

The destruction of New York and the U.S. by everything from war to earthquakes is accompanied by ominous Islamic prophetic interpretations that have the U.S. defeated in Jerusalem.

"After this," notes Cook, "the victorious Muslims will conquer Europe and destroy the 'idolatrous church in the Vatican.'

"This will lead to the brief reign of the Mahdi, which will be ended by the physical appearance of the Dajjal himself, who will gather another huge army to fight the Battle of Armageddon."

The "Mahdi" is a messianic figure whom some radicals now associate with Osama Bin Laden. According to Muslim writers, the Mahdi will proclaim himself in Mecca and move against Jordan, which will be ruled by a Jew.

"Then America will live through the worst disaster in its history," writes Muhammad 'Isa Da'ud. "This disaster will be the destruction of New York by a terrible flood after a terrifying series of explosions nearby makes the surrounding waters swallow it up as if it is an ant inside a terrifying star of heat and water."

In the perspective of these Muslim writers, "Florida also suffers nuclear explosions of unknown origin and this triggers even more explosions as the American nuclear arsenal in the area detonates."

After the disabling of the U.S., much of Europe will convert to Islam, in the view of modern Muslim prophetic writers, but there will be one stumbling block. "This ideal state of affairs is wrecked by the Vatican, since groups of saboteurs under Roman Catholic control are caught, and brought before the Mahdi," says Cook. "They confess who sent them to him personally and to representatives of the foreign countries. Then the Mahdi proclaims that his armies are moving to the Vatican and going to attack Rome."

It is a sobering warning on both short-term and long-term radical Muslim intentions. Let us make clear that this is not a view held by the majority of those who adhere to Islam. But it is prevalent in large circles that have spawned groups like Hamas and al-Qaeda. "Washington, the city of the American White House, where the policies of Satan are made, and the cursed Congress, whose decisions are led by the devil, and approved by the anti-christ -- fires swallow them up and they become past tense," writes the Muslim writer Da'ud.

Why the World Trade Center? Why the Pentagon? Besides the obvious nature of these symbols, they relate to the prophetic view of future events. "Bin Laden lives in a symbolic universe which reads apocalyptically," says another scholar, Richard Landes, director of the Center for Millennial Studies at Boston University.

"We need to consider both issues -- the motivations of Bin Laden and the Arab-Israeli conflict in light of Islamism and its apocalyptic world view. Bin Laden is a central player in a cosmic battle that pits the warriors for truth against the agents of Satan and evil in this world. For a good idea of what this vision consists of, see the web site named in honor of Abdullah Azzam, Bin Laden's (now dead) mentor and the founder of MAK, the predecessor to Al Qa'ida, especially the apocalyptic reading of the present world situation by a respected Saudi theologian, Sifr al-Hawali. He uses Daniel to prove that the second intifada began the 'Day of Rage of the Lord.' See also Islam, Qur'an and Qiyamah, by a moderate theologian who dislikes the fundamentalists, but nonetheless reads Sura 57 of the Koran as an apocalyptic prophecy fulfilled in the Trade Center bombing."

This is just like the Islamists. New York is beloved by many Muslims, probably the city in which they can find the most freedom and acceptance and they plan to blow it up.

There are many Catholic prophecies which predict the Muslims will take over the Vatican. Now they predict it themselves. Italy is being overrun by illegal Muslims as we speak. Is anyone paying attention?

Maybe a little comfort is in order

Salvation

"Salvation" is a very common topic, and yet still subject to much confusion. Salvation is received, not earned.
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

It is His gift; not wages. His salvation is for a purpose: to restore mankind to Himself. And it flows from a heart of love.

(Have you ever wondered why He bothered? The answer is in the verse just before the one above):
That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in [his] kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. Ephesians 2:7

Salvation is not an optional extra. The classic passage is John Chapter 3, where Nico-demus comes to Jesus by night.

Nicodemus

We know a great deal about this influential character. The Talmud indicates he was one of the four richest men in Jerusalem. He was a Pharisee and a ruler-a member of the Sanhedrin.

He was a member of the aristocratic family that had furnished the Hasmonean King Aristobulus II with his ambassador to Pompey in 63 B.C. His son apparently was the man who negotiated the terms of surrender to the Roman garrison in Jerusalem prior to the final destruction of that city in A.D. 70. 1

Nicodemus outranks each of us in every respect: he was among the most wealthy in that society; he had stature; he had knowledge-in fact, he was the teacher. 2

Nicodemus was among the most respected and religious among the professionals of his culture. He was certainly ahead of any of us. Yet he was in desperate need. Jesus declared to him, "Ye must be born again." 3If he had a spiritual need, where does that place us ?

Our Most Urgent Need

Why should God let you into heaven? You say, "I am as good as the next guy." Strike one.

"I am doing the best I can." Strike two.

       "I'll try harder." Strike three.

"Nobody's perfect." That's the problem. Sin is a genetic disease; it has contaminated our very nature. Children never need a lesson in being bad. This genetic disease, sin, makes us ineligible for perfection; ineligible to be in the presence of a holy God.

Eternity

Every one of us will exist forever. The real you-call it "soul," " spirit," whatever-has no mass . It is "software" not "hardware." Having no mass, it has no time dimension limitations. Time is a physical dimension. You are eternal-whether you are "saved" or not!

The problem is, where will you spend eternity ? If you are perfect-totally free of sin-you will spend it in the presence of God. If not, you will be denied His presence. You and I cannot begin to grasp what that implies. For eternity: that's a long time.

Who Will Perish?

What separates those who will spend an eternity in hell from those who will not? Heaven will be full of people who have committed all kinds of sin.

Hell is a real place for real people. 4The one who told us the most about it was the Lord Jesus Himself. There are only two categories-those that perish and those that don't:
For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. 1 Corinthians 1:18

Salvation is an arrangement by which His eligibility is substituted for our lack thereof. It is available to us because our debts have been fully paid. Our complete pardon has been purchased and paid for.

Even killing the Son of God was not severe enough to put those men outside the boundaries of God's offer of forgiveness. 5

[Is there anything keeping you from accepting God's free gift of salvation right now? If there is any doubt in your mind, bring it to the Throne right now . You don't need an appointment. Don't even read on without nailing this one down... with Him. It's your highest priority over anything-everything-else.]

We don't become saved by acting saved. We don't become married by acting married. Faith bridges the gap between our need and God's provision. Faith is simply the way we say "yes" to His offer.

What are you trusting in? Christ, plus something ? Or is your hope and your trust in Christ alone? He did the whole job. To imply something must be added is a form of blasphemy!

Your helmet was purchased just for you. You are entitled to it because of Him.

Wearing Your Helmet

With a helmet on, you're noticeable . If you just possess one, it won't be as obvious. Life after death is not the issue. Life after "birth" is. Are you living as if you are saved? Many of us don't live as if we're saved... We are difficult to recognize because of "blending in." We exhibit fear, anxiety, doubt, and hesitation.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose.
Romans 8:28

What are the most important words in that verse? The first three: " And we know ." Not just "suspect," or "hope," etc.

Realize who you are and that Christ paid the full price for your redemption. You have been redeemed, you have been paid for; you are no longer your own.

Put on your helmet; protect your thoughts by realizing who you are in Him. Nothing protects you more from a blow to your head than our "helmet of salvation." Each time you step out your door each day, realize that you have been redeemed.

You already have eternal life. No one can take that away from you. So Satan's darts can't reach you. Nothing, by any means, can hurt you. Re-read Romans 8:28-39.

Take your helmet off and you're vulnerable. Satan will put lying thoughts in your head. Remember this: How many of your sins were yet future at the cross? All of them .

Take the eternal perspective. When did God first start dealing with your problem? Before the world began! 6What a staggering insight! He knew and planned for your destiny from before the beginning of time! (We often joke: I'm glad he picked me back then. Looking at me now, He might change His mind!)

We also need to manifest our helmet. We need to alert others to their need for one and how they can obtain theirs. Make this, indeed, a "New Year!" Put on your helmet and let the world know of your security in Christ. Walk with your head up, free of fear and doubt.

They touch the vatican or let loose a WMD in the US and Mecca, Medina and every other muslim "holy" place will instantly become a permanent and radioactive "hole-y" place.

Perhaps, if Ronald Reagan were president. Although I respect and support him, George W. Bush is no Ronald Reagan.

Conclusion? This will never end until each and every copy of the satanist's book they call the Koran is destroyed, all their believers converted, and all the land they conquered by the sword given back to the rightful owners.

Something like this will take hundreds of years. A nuke on Mecca will start a wave of terror unlike the world has ever seen. Terror is all they know, for in their backword society they have no ability to reason, to cooperate, or to tolerate anything other than their false religion.

"Are we not to fear, during this period, that the Mohammedans will come again, working out their sinister schemes against the Latin Church?"...Venerable Holzhauser

Then he goes on to say that after the coming world war that "the empire of the Mohammedans will be broken up."

"I saw the Church of St. Peter: it had been destroyed but for the Sanctuary and the main Altar."-Venerable Emmerich

"Mary will extend the riegn of Christ over the heathens and Mohammedans and it will be a time of great joy when Mary, as Mistress and Queen of Hearts, is enthroned."-Venerable Mary of Agreda

"She (Our Lady) will extend the Kingdom of Christ over the idolators and Moslems, and there will come a glorious era in which Mary will be the ruler and Queen of human hearts."-St. Louis De Montfort

They all say the same things, that there will be a falling away from Christianity, the Catholic Church will be infiltrated and full of corruption. Christians will be persecuted and a great war will break out in Europe, in which the Muslims and others will invade and almost conquer Europe.

But, a Frenchman, descendant of royal blood will ally himself with a 'strict' pope and fight against the invaders and finally destory and convert them.

They say there will be extraordinary disturbances in nature and a three days darkness.

After that will be a short time of peace and then the Antichrist will come.

Interesting stuff.

Even Belloc in one of his books mentions the Muslims rising to power again.

"This has been a religious war from the outset. Anyone who still doesn't see that is blind."

Yes, I agree with you, absolutely. Of course, not all Muslims may be against us, or involved with the war, and in fact, I think many millions of Muslims around the globe are actually victims of the world wide Jihad that is being waged by radical Islam.

And those who would deny this are not only blind, but deaf too(not to mention dumb, sorry, couldn't resist that). For these people have made no secret of their plans. It is the same plan old Mo himself made way back in the Eighth century, World Domination, at any and all costs.

The Europeans, in particular, have been fools to let these people in. Here, in America, we are a society of immigrants, I understand why we have foreigners and Muslims here. I can even understand this about countries like Britain and France, who had colonies until late in the 20th century. But can anyone explain to me why there are Muslims in Scandanavia? I mean whole communities, not a person here or there. I can tell you why the Muslims are there, they are the advance troops of the Jihad. I can't tell you why the Scandos let them into their previously ENTIRELY homogeneous society.

Where on earth are the Muslims not waging war on the rest of us? ALL the rest of us, not just the Christians, Jews or even Westerners? Asia? India? Africa? The Pacific Islands? North America? Europe? The Middle East? About the only place I can think of not currently plagued by Muslim terror is South and Central America. And for them I can only imagine it is only a matter of time. But, hey, maybe Argentina's looking pretty good right now!

The first rule is: Know your enemy. We ignore his motivation and meta-plan at our own peril.

Does anyone really believe the Indo/Israeli friendship is about TRADE? The Hindus and the Jews are not unwilling to admit that the Muslims are killing them for religious reasons. We Western Christians, and atheists even, better wake up to this reality, in all its implications.

Could get interesting sooner than we expect, where the Mahdi is concerned...

Eclipses during Ramadan
by David L. McNaughton
In "Hamdard Islamicus" (Karachi, Pakistan), vol. XIX no. 1 (Spring 1996): pp. 81-86.

Double Eclipses during Ramadan

Sometimes a Ramadan will contain a solar and a lunar eclipse. That inevitably provokes comment, because of traditions that such a "double-eclipse" is a portent for some unusual event. Ithna'asheri Shi'ites, for example, believe that their Twelfth Imam will reappear after a Ramadan double-eclipse (although those two phenomena will supposedly take place in reverse order, with the solar one occurring in mid-month (5); that will require the moon to suddenly double its speed of movement after the onset of the Holy Month!)

In March/April 1894 (Ramadan 1311), Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (founder of the Ahmadiyya or Qadiani movement in Pakistan) interpreted a double-eclipse as a sign that he was a genuine modern-day prophet (6). The lunar eclipse during that particular month was only partial, although the solar one two weeks later was total in a few places in eastern Asia (7). However, there was nothing at all extraordinary about those two eclipses: every 22 or 23 Islamic years there is at least one Ramadan featuring a pair of eclipses two weeks apart (8) - one of which is usually partial; see Table 1.

Very much rarer is a Ramadan containing two total eclipses.

Table 2 lists all such occasions since AH 1, as well as during the next 200 years (9); (its solar eclipses are all central, with annular ones also included).

It will be interesting to see whether the two total eclipses scheduled to occur during Ramadan 1424 (AD November 2003) - are cited to support a claim similar to that made by Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, or as proof of thesignificance of some extraordinary event.

Notes for Table 2

Central lunar eclipses are always total.

*The central solar eclipses listed above are total unless asterisked - in which case they are annular.

Dates apply to the instant of maximum eclipse.

Extrapolated Gregorian dates are given even on occasions when the old Julian calendar was in operation;
the corresponding Julian date is then shown below in brackets.

A Google search on ramadan mahdi eclipse yielded 274 results.

A Google search on ramadan mehdi eclipse (alternate "mahdi" spelling) yielded 86 results.

In the Name of Allah, The Compassionate, The Merciful. Peace and Blessings be on our Master Muhammad, his progeny, and his chosen companions and all of Allah’s messengers. Allah says in His Glorious Book: "Allah's wish is but to remove uncleanness far from you, O Members of the Household, and cleanse you with a through cleansing". One of those Members and one of the Infallible Imams is Imam Al-Mahdi whom Allah has prepared to fill the earth with justice, by means of Islam, having been filled with oppression, falsehood and unbelief. We celebrate the birth of this Imam who ...

BLACK FLAGS of Islam -- Portents of the Imam al-Mahdi?

Black Flags of Islam Portents of the Imam al-Mahdi, the Moslems' prophesied deliverer of Jerusalem? from Diane Alden… Afghanistan has special significance to the world of militant Islam. It was once called Khurasan, along with parts of Iran and Pakistan. Muhammad said: "If you see the black flags coming from Khurasan, join that army, even if you have to crawl over ice, for that is the army of the Imam al-Mahdi and no one can stop that army until it reaches Jerusalem." That is one reason Osama bin Laden chose it as his base, or al-Qaida. Mohammed's ...

I'm looking for information concerning Mohammed's Prophecies of the Imam Mahdi. Particularly where they might shed light on Osama bin Laden's strategies behind the Terror attacks of 9/11. Specific quotes and sources appreciated.

Did that. This is part of what I found.

Islamic clerics herald the imminent conquest of Rome by Islam, in accordance with the prophecy of Mohammed. Sheik Yousef Al-Qaradhawi, a most influential Sunni cleric said: “Islam shall return to Europe as a Conqueror”. In a ‘Fatwa’ he quoted the Prophet Mohammed who said: “The city of Heracles [Constantinople – now Istanbul or ‘Islam-Boul’] will be conquered first; then Romiyya – today called ‘Rome’ the capital of Italy [and center of Catholic Christianity]…The conquest will be by a [Hudabiyya] treaty. The conquest of Romiyya means that Islam will return to Europe and, Allah willing, Europeans will convert to Islam – and disseminate Islam in the world.” Sudi Sheikh Muhammad bin Abd al-Rahman al’Arifi, imam of the mosque of King Faud Academy said: “We will control the land of the Vatican…the Christians who carve crosses on the breast of Muslims in Kosovo and Bosnia will pay us the Jiziya [poll tax paid by non-Muslims or ‘Dhimmis’] in humiliation or they will convert to Islam.” (5)

"There can be no doubt of the profound hostility entertained by Muslim apocalyptic writers towards the United States, and their intense desire to humiliate it and see it destroyed forever,"

This from a culture that makes me think of 14 year old boys being in charge. They are humiliated because their men couldn't compete with our little girls in the modern world. There's this thing called "self control" that appears to be against their religion. For boys anyway. They apparantly are scared to death of women.

"The conquest will be by a [Hudabiyya] treaty."

I wonder how else this might have been translated.

Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem the second most sacred spot in Islam

I thought Medina was #2? The birthplace of ole mo, don't ya know. The dome and Jerusalem aren't mentioned in the Koran or the Hadishes(sp). It didn't become important religiously until it was a political tool.

By the way, this reply is worthy of it's own thread in my opinion.

I'm suprised it has lasted this long as a reply. This had it's own thread right after it was published, but was removed. In fact, it has, as far as I can tell, been scrubbed from the internet. I was only going to post a link, but my last known working one no longer does. Then I thought to myself, what the heck, it is a reasonable response to the Jihadi threatening the Vatican.

By the way, I had some problems getting a game to work and following the advice of tech support, and I made all kinds of changes on my computer to get it to work. It was only shortly after that I posted this essay, now my computer is starting to subtlely act funny, wierd delays and such. I don't have the technical know-how to determine if it was something I did, or if I have some kind of Echelon spooks(Hi guys!) haunting me. I know I'm probably just paranoid, but.....

Dr. Wheeler was a bit overheated when he wrote this, for good reason, so I can understand some mistaken details, if there are mistakes.

Of course these Islamic idiots appear to be unaware that any attempt to take out NYC or DC would result in a "Roman" response by the US that would fry all Arab nations in atomic destruction. Mecca would be a prime target.

It seems that the present admin is blind as Carl Rove and other high-level WH advisors are toadying up to the radical Muslims in the US, hoping for Muslim votes next year. This in spite of clear evidence that these so-called "peaceful" Arabs are known supporters of terrorists. This information was brought up tonight on Savage. Scary stuff!

Hudabiyya

The town ole mo made a treaty with till he had enough swords to break the treaty he had signed.

This is a well known Islamic tactic blessed by allah as written in the koran.

This sounds right to me! Now, how do we get President Bush to deliver the speech? Don't hold your breath too long... It would take a major hit on any US city to merit that kind of response even though we have already suffered that hit. Cojones are needed and soon!

Wow, there is so much love in the hearts of these people; it's amazing!

Good post MP.

You're right, let's stay focussed on God, rather than a pagan concept of who He is.

The Islemmings think they are charging hard against the West, when they are charging for a cliff over the sea.

Sooner or later, if they keep it up, and let loose a WMD etc, we will find out if they will pray toward a smoking mile wide crater where their black moon-god rock used to be.
