I would change thousands to hundreds or tens, but other than that I'm in favor of the Nuke Mecca approach.

I'm suprised it has lasted this long as a reply. This had it's own thread right after it was published, but was removed. In fact, it has, as far as I can tell, been scrubbed from the internet. I was only going to post a link, but my last known working one no longer does. Then I thought to myself, what the heck, it is a reasonable response to the Jihadi threatening the Vatican.
By the way, I had some problems getting a game to work and following the advice of tech support, and I made all kinds of changes on my computer to get it to work. It was only shortly after that I posted this essay, now my computer is starting to subtlely act funny, wierd delays and such. I don't have the technical know-how to determine if it was something I did, or if I have some kind of Echelon spooks(Hi guys!) haunting me. I know I'm probably just paranoid, but.....
