Wow. Wonder how long it will be before this thread get's pulled for promoting hatred towards those poor misguided and misunderstood perverted souls. After all, a ballpark is almost as good a spot to cruise for young teenage boys as it is at a library for yound boys.

Dallas Voice Newspaper stating, “Gay Day at the Ballpark will be the first time a major professional athletic team has reached out to the gay community and offered to help organize such an event.”

No it isn't.

Gay Day in Philadelphia last month was disgusting, but not exactly surprising. But in Texas? Is this Mike Cramer dude - President of Operations with the Texas Rangers - completely brain-dead? Did he not expect any backlash in the Lone Star State? What a absolute moron.

As if watching their impotent baseball team - aside from Rafael Palmiero, of course ;) - wasn't bad enough, now the team has to go the extra mile to drive away the fans? Unbeliveable. The Rangers win the "Worst Franchise in Professional Sports Award," hands down.

I'd call up those yahoos and tell them that I'll keep my season tickets only if two conditions are met: 1) They apologize profusely and publicly for planning this Pervert/Faggot Day, and cancel it immediately; 2) Trade A-Rod (dumping his $180+ million contract in the process) and start rebuilding with pitching and defense, the cornerstones of any good team.

Doesn't matter if it's true as long as some of you get to pile on in the name of "morality".

Enjoy the workout. Pay no attention to the facts.

Mike Cramer, who is the President of Operations with the Texas Rangers organization, has repeatedly refused to address the article in the Dallas Voice Newspaper stating, “Gay Day at the Ballpark will be the first time a major professional athletic team has reached out to the gay community and offered to help organize such an event.”

I don't know if the Phillies helped to organize their "gay day" or not, I do know that I saw a thread this summer about some fans who got kicked out of the Philidelphia ballpark for protesting homosexuality.

The homosexual agenda is continuing to stomp traditional values in this ongoing cultural war. The "gay" rainbow flag is a political symbol; the ballparks are publicly paid for structures. Why is some political speech permitted while other political speech limited?

I could see the ballteam owner saying that he doesn't want any political banners in the park but that standard is not universally applied.

I'd say that this "in your face/down your throat" posturing will continue to all ballparks. I saw something about Houston's Astroworld themepark having a "gay day" this year. Just like there are rolling blackouts, there seems to be rolling crowds of homosexual activists.

Ask the owner when S&M day at the park is. Ask when footfetishist day at the park is. Homosexuality is a fetish attraction. Embracing it as a "unique" subculture is not right. Other sexual fetishists are not considered a "protected class"; most people will say "I don't want to hear about it" whether they are at the office or the ballpark.

I just don't get all of this. If a queer wants to go to a baseball game, why don't they just go and watch it like everyone else?

Why is it that these perverts have to have their special days at baseball games, DisneyWorld, etc. so they can announce loudly, "We're HOMOS! Look at US!"

OK...those questions are rhetorical. I know the reasons (promotion of their sick agenda) but it's disgusting just the same.

Dare I mention that the Texas Rangers' new farm team is the Frisco Roughriders?

At least they didn't name it the Village People or the Gerbil Stuffers

The larger commercial enterprises have been co-opted & PC'd beyond redemption. It is only worth noting that mnore & more folk ignore & choose NOT to shop, buy or even find entertainment at the places & from the people who spread the rot.

Inquiry to Barnes & Noble for a bio on Thomas Moore & other work from the same author yielded a sewer of homosexual perversity-the author appears ( by implcation ) to be some flaming cross-dressing homsexual. The heading came back, "Persons who bought this book also bought..."

Good-bye B&N. Long ago good-bye big sports, Hollywierd, et al.
