An inmate attempting to escape from the St. Charles County Jail on Thursday afternoon was stopped short when he ran into a concrete retaining wall.
Lt. Bob Boerding of the St. Charles County Sheriff's Department said the wall is about three feet from the other side of a fire exit door leading from the jail's garage. The prisoner apparently didn't know it was there.

Just watch...the inmate will claim the gestapo-syle nazi police roughed him up and some scum-sucking lawyer will take the case resulting in a cost of tens of thousands of dollars in taxpayer dollars to defend it.

The inmate was being escorted back to his cell after being interviewed by two members of the St. Charles County Regional Drug Task ForceOkay, he was being interviewed by the drug cops, and took off running into a concrete wall. I would guess this means he flunked his drug test.

Long ago we did the Halloween "light the dogstuff in the bag, ring the bell and haulass" trick. Well we are hauling ass down the street and my bud to my left cuts across a yard and hits a wire trellis at WOT. All I heard was "CHOOOIINNG-oommmph" and he was flat on his back. We picked him up and kept going. The next day he looked like a piece of ruled loose leaf paper.

Bet the inmate sues the state for not warning people by putting up a sign that said: "Wall Ahead!" What's even more weird is that he'll win a huge settlement.
