The BBC has been described as Orwellian, because of its unequaled role in shaping perceptions in Britain. This is one reason the government of Tony Blair has taken the broadcaster to task over its biased coverage of the Iraq war and its aftermath. But George Orwell also warned us about the dangers the BBC presents in other important ways.

Nailed:

"The BBC is pathologically hostile to the government and official opposition, most British institutions, American policy in almost every field, Israel, moderation in Ireland, all Western religions, and most manifestations of the free market economy."

Those who serve are eventually compelled ( in their own minds & for no other reason ) to deny service to the client.

One of the few principles that I think correct, from what was jokingly called Sociology in the '60s. I really think the BBC should be forgiven-its insanity. They should walk. Next case.

*LOL* Did you read the article at all? This is not a one-time occurance with the BBC. Check out the blogspot link. It's endemic, as is the elitist/liberal bias in American newspapers. If we give them a pass on their coverage for the last 2 years, what's going to stop them from turning out more of the same? Nothing. Appeasement never stops the behavior of the other side, and giving the BBC a pass won't change anything.

BBC is a government entity & I therefore label it inherently flawed-toxic. I am amazed anyone is amazed. Shocked!
