To: Lost and Confused
I wonder how the good Savannah police are gonna handle this one... : )

I think the police are the least of the protesters worries, half the people in Georgia are armed and they don't take any BS. If the protesters try and riot, there will be bloodshed. And if that don't make them think twice, the insects, heat and humidity will.

Just a few random ramblings... you're right, except probably 80-90% around here are armed... I grew up in St. Simons, Sea Island's a little east & north, and far as I recall, it's a private island- that "they'll have to let us in" won't fly.

This is a very, very conservative area- Hell, even the Democrats are conservative, for the most part! One reason my little one-man protests against Clinton never got much traction is that nearly everyone here absolutely despises him & his enablers- it's preaching to the choir.

And just a personal note- the local media is crowing about how this is going to make us all rich and famous- but I don't buy that- it will be like Jimmy Carter visiting Musgrove Plantation years ago- a moment of fame, then forgotten...
