CA: Voters' ambivalence gives Davis hope of winning recall election

Poll after poll confirms that Californians consider Gov. Gray Davis to be a chronic and perhaps unsalvageable underachiever.

His current job approval ratings, scarcely over 20 percent in the three major statewide polls, make him the least popular governor in recorded California history, and the deep disdain cuts across virtually every economic, cultural and political subgroup.

If he survives - ok; if not - ok; if a Republican wins ok; and so on. My point is this: Because we have gathered at least 1.3 million signatures, we have galvanized our people. If the rats are dumb enough to actually over turn this effort in the courts, it will be a huge burning coal waiting to explode next year. If we do get a GOPer in, he HAS TO DO BETTER BY ACCIDENT. Anything that he does that works, even a little bit, will be hailed by the people as a great victory because, they put him in. They will be cheering themselves. In that case, the more the rat media try to put it down, the more people will be able to see through it. I just don't see any senario where we don't gain. We could lose the election and still gain. It's a win win win all the way.

LOL.. I like your attitude! What a show.. any way ya cut it.. and it is a great way to go into the 2004 elections.

With the demRats tender little tax and spend underbellies exposed, it should be a lot of fun in rousting these creeps out of their gerrymandered nests.

It can be done.. seriesly ;-)

There are days that Walters should submit to a drug test and virus test when he writes BS like this.

The virus is the lethal Left Wing Mediot Forever virus that has stricken about 99.9% of the mediots. It disables them from reality and real reporting. They try to push the left wing maggots in politics 24/7 inspite of the reality.

Walters must be the Sac Bee clone of Chrissy Matthews.

It is not okay if Davis survives. It is costing CA $30 million a day that the Dimwit stays in office. If this state is to survive it is absolutely paramount that the Dimwit Davis is removed. PERIOD! This state is on the edge of bankruptcy and the bottom line is DAVIS MUST GO! Game, Set, Match!

Even if Davis manages to hang onto his job, I hope these million plus people will help turn out the current legislature whenever they have the chance.
