What man wants to see all that he's worked hard for all his life go up in smoke just because his "wife" saw someone else that she'd rather have? OH! Its way more than that. Did you miss this:
Then, theres the feminist-driven Violence Against Women Act. Thats the federal boondoggle which has spawned domestic violence laws around the country that make a mockery of "innocent until proven guilty."

Marriage scares the Beejeesus out of me.
As well it should, but there's the tragedy. Marriage is a sacred institution that was given to us as a fortress for well-being, and leftist politics has defiled it beyond recognition. My first wife was a Californian who was all the nightmares described above and more. My second wife is a treasure that has lived most of her life in Latin America and has no use for what has happened to the land of her birth.

Remain engaged.

Trust is the most valuable thing in a marraige. If you really trust her, you'd take the leap. And if she's really deserving of your trust, you'll both be very happy.

I'm 35 - simple rules of dating.
What to Look For in Women:
No divorcees.
No kids.
Nobody over 27.
Nobody with excessive baggage.
Nobody without a positive outlook.
Watch blind date nightly and see the mistakes dorks make! Godo women are out there, but they tend to be younger, relatively unspoiled, and sick of the man-boys they know.
