I think so. Last pic I saw of her looked like she was trapped in a wind-tunnel test. The corners of her mouth were pulled nearly back to her earlobes.

I saw her when I had a business lunch at a midtown NYC restaurant (Aquavit) about a year ago. She was about two tables away -- she looked like a mummy. Scary. She is the ultimate reason not to be a "Cosmo Girl."

She's been obsessed with that sort of thing for 50 years. That, and promoting herself as somebody who "made it" all on her own. She was, in fact, a superb writer of ad copy in the 50s. But three years before she wrote her Sex And The Single Girl, she married a wealthy Hollywood producer and became independently wealthy overnight -- not quite the self-made wonder she gave her readers to believe. She must be given credit for understanding how to sell image. She recreated herself as the female mirror image of Hugh Hefner and it worked. All she had to do was convince gullible office girls that they weren't really sluts as long as they thought of themselves as sophisticates instead. Did I forget to mention that she's from Arkansas?
