I think the Democrats are being set up. (Why is everyone so worried?)

Someone already thought of this:They are by no means duplicate posts though. Just sort of a nice and much needed corroboration of opinions.

I'm not quite as optimistic as you are but maybe 3/4's. Well thought out rant though.

Well, I am just an ol granny type out here in "flyoverland"... and my 2 cents on this is the following...
I would rather trust Rumsfeld, Powell, and GWB than Clinton, Cohen, and Maddy Allbright.
I can't second guess the CIA, State Dept., and NSA, primarily because I have no access to the info they have.
I have to go with the guys who seem to shoot straight, and aren't trying to tell me what the definition of "is" is.
My money goes on the guys who stay true to their wives and children, who have an understanding of the 10 "suggestions", why they matter, and who do their best to live by them.
What else is there, huh?

Hahaha...yeah theyve been saving up all the evidence all these months just so they would have one final blow to finish off the democratic party once and for good. hehe
The only way Saddam would have had WMD is if he was a complete moron. And recent events seem to indicate that he is not. WMD are no longer an effective tool for waging war in all but the most extreme of cirumstances. They are a tool leading straight to political disaster. No all that really matter right now is counter-insurgency operations and that was exactly what Iraq was preparing for.
So maybe Bush will make some political gains in coming weeks and months...but they will only be temporary. I don't believe Bush blatantly lied about anything, but nonetheless nearly all of their prewar intelligence has been shown to be innaccurate. In the end, Bush will lose in 04 not because his administration lied, but because their prewar intelligence was pointed in exactly the wrong direction.

That looks like an old F-3 Demon. What a gutless airplane. I'm not that old, though. I was in the Tomcat community all my life. Nice photo, though.

Rats aren't going to like what you just wrote. I can picture them in their rathole right now: rat eyes dilated, tails twitching, little rat hearts thumping--huddled together shivering and gnawing at the possibility you are dead right.

Ha ha ha, yourself.

Floyder, what the heck are you smokin? You seem to be hoping for a bruising for Bush and friends, unless I am misreading your comment.
And, just how do you think we should deal with terrorists like Al-Quaeda, funded by Saddam and Saudi Arabia anyway? Did you put your sons in harm's way to defend us from these idiots?
I did. One served in central America and Granada, and one in Iraq, Operation Provide Comfort, 82nd AB.
What do you think is worth fighting for?
I better go to bed early. I am getting very cranky, and the sun hasn't even set here on the east coast.

Boy are you utterly clueless about the political landscape!!! Most of the middle and right, who will wind up powering Bush to a landslide victory in 04, could care less about this issue. We needed to wack Saddam sooner or later and it might as well have been sooner. The 35% of the left/liberals/mindless/, etc. will vote against Bush regardless of what he does or doesn't do.
Talk is cheap. I will bet hard dollars Bush wins BIG!
