Ann Coulter's TREASON neck and neck with the Hilldabeast's Turgid Tome
email | TREASONJune 25, 2003 | Ann Coulter

.

AMAZINGLY -- today SUNDAY -- I can't believe this -- but a crown sales guy justemailed that Ann Coulter's new book TREASON is neck and neck with the Hildabeast's turgid tome !!!!!

AND old Brown Eye has had 7 days of sales this week, Coulter only 5.

Plus a lot of bookstores don't have TREASON on the shelves! (or are hiding it.)

it's the last day of the week for book sales . . . wouldn't it be nice to see Ann butt the double-wide off the list?

If you have the time TODAY ..... it couldn't be spent more wisely than to go down to your local bookstore and start your Christmas shopping early with a couple of copies of TREASON

It's the least we can do for the Hilldabeast ..... and of course Ann

send a copy to a young mind in college.

Just read an article around here yesterday about how "old Brown Eye" has been using various shades of blue contacts since early in her WH years. Nothing like being blonde AND blue-eyed, no matter how you started out in life.

old Brown Eye

I always heard that used as a euphemism for an anus, I guess it fits.

well I'm certain the collars and cuffs don't match ... but I don't want verification

I thought Old Brown Eye fitting because of the contacts the Hilldabeast wore for the book jacket and that 'brown eye' is a euphanism for A_ _ Hole

I stopped at the Nashua, NH B&N on the way home Friday to pick up a magazine. Going into the store I was immediately met by a huge Potter display. After getting the magazine I noticed a decent display of Ann's book by the customer service counter (admittedly not in the main aisle but close to it). As I walked out of the store, Treason in hand, I realized that whereever Hillary's book was, it never caught my eye.

I bought mine last night at Barnes and Noble. Ann's book was all over the store. The manager told me, they expect to move it to Best Seller rack on Wednesday. (the day they move books) He said the book was well documented/researched. He then said that of course conservative books have to be well researched. I have read most of this book. I think it is the most shocking/disturbing book I have ever read. I used to be a Democrat. I left the party because of Clinton. Later, I saw problems in the Democratic party even before Clinton. However, it never ocurred to me that Roosevelt and Truman both had communist spies working in their Cabinet, at state, and other places. They were told these guys were spies and promoted them! I won't say anymore. I don't want to spoil the book for you guys. It's very good. I took it for granted that old time Democrats were better than their modern counterparts. This was not true. I am still in shock. It appears my beliefs-held more than 25 years- were completely wrong. I thought Clinton was responsible for the downward spiral of the Democratic Party. The party was in the sewer long before Clinton. I just didn't know it.

Being purchased in bulk lots direct from bookstore warehouses to the DNC and Dimwit pols to boost the numbers and to ensure the Beast makes appearances at fundraisers a.k.a. book signings in the future.

You know you raised you kids right when you are told by your daughter, who lives in Manhatten, that she on her way to a B&N in an area island that is infested with leftists to buy her copy on Treason today.

Her way of rubbing their noses in it.

Of the three bookstores I went into last week (one Border's and two Barnes and Nobles) Ann's book was not to be found at any of them in a visible location.

In each store it was invariably lying flat instead of standing up (of course, Hitlery's book was standing up, and put in the forward displays at all three), put behind a "New Releases" display instead of in front of it, and in one store was not even in the front, or anywhere to be found near the New Releases sections, it was all the way in the back of the store in "Current Events" and even there it was displayed "flat" instead of standing up.

If I can find the time, this week, I'm going to all three of these stores again, this week (especially when Ann's book hits the bestsellers list) and I'm going to ask for their managers and confront them about it.

I'm tired of these moronic, vicious, little leftist cretins getting away with this kind of bullsh!t over and over and over again, every time some conservative releases a book.

I go into the local boston B+N on opening day to get my fresh copy, AND THEY ONLY HAD 1 (ONE) COPY ON THE SHELF.

Now, it was buried back in the "current events" section. Why wasn't there a stack in with the "New Releases" section? Option 1 is that they stocked a whoel load of them and they sold out by the evening, when I could go down there. Option 2 is that they weren't gonna help her sales any and didn't order very many to stock in the first place.

Seeing as there wasn't a big empty space in the New Releases section, I'm banking that the liberal #@$^@%$&!$s that work there are purposely not stocking it up front so that their liberal #@!&@$&% friends won't see it and perhaps actually BUY it and get some truth into their lives

Either way, I got the last copy and am pouring through and enjoying her writing style.

If you want a laugh, check out ebay and the lovely Mrs. Clinton's book... sort of explains why all those people were waiting to get signed copies :) :)

Posted yesterday on a different article.

"Went to Border's Book Store today, Vets and Causeway, Metairie, La. Plenty of Hill's "Lying History" for sale, but no copies of Treason to be seen.

A Lady customer at the counter was talking to the hired help about the book. She finished her conversation, and was walking away when I intercepted her. After a few exchanged words about the book Treason she stated that it was out. My reply was its been out for about a week now! This Lady corrected me. She said Treason was SOLD OUT!!!

The only thing left in the store was the CD Audio Version of Treason someone hid behind a copy of Slander. What the heck, I figured the only thing better than reading Treason was having it read to me by Ann Coulter. :> --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The B+N in Springfield, VA is doing the same thing, hiding just one copy on the shelf back in the politics section, while about ten copies of Hillary's book are still sitting up in front. The clerk tried lying to me and claimed that they had Treason up front the day before. I gave him the "who do you think you're kidding look" and chewed his ass out. I think he must have been grateful when I left.

At the B+N in Alpharetta, they had a stack of 'em by the door. Missed them (came in through coffee shop) and dug mine out of current events, cussin' 'em of for hidin' the book and only havin' one copy. Then I saw I saw the stack (at least 20 of them) by the door...

This is the most infuriating book I have ever read. I always knew Joe McCarthy was right (even when my grade school was makin' us produce Arthur Miller's "The Crucible"), but figured he went about things the wrong way. Turns out he did everything right and was, uh, SLANDERed.

You go, Ann!

I got my copy Thursday and I am almost through. I thought the part about McCarthy was most interesting. He is the libs favorite boogey man. I doubt Ann will change many people's preceived opinion of him. Perhaps it will start a dialogue about him and at least he will get some credit in rooting out the commies.
