Ann Coutler's new book Hidden and undersold by BORDERS-Hiilary all over the store

Posted on 06/27/2003 9:45:55 AM PDT by mandingo republican

Just went to Borders on Broadway near Wall Street in New York City to buy Treason by Ann Coutler. Only 8 copies of her book were displayed on a stand to the side that wasn't even facing the door. When I bought it - it was 30% off I got a dirty look by the pretty Gen Xy college student cashier. She even made a point to check the back of my credit card to see if the signatures matched up - they seldom do that.

On the other hand - Hillary's book was displayed all over the palce! In the front in the back, on carts EVERYwhere! There were hundreds of Hillary books strategically placed all over - when you walked in you were faced with a wall of Hillary!

The bias will never end!

Well in NYC there may be more demand for Mrs. Clinton's lies than for Ms. Couter's truth. In which case the bookstore is just behaving rationally.

In addition if prominately displayed copies of Treason are likely to be damages in a NYC book outlet, Borders might have further reason. And you as the person who would like to purchase an undamaged copy of Treason benefit.

Same experience in East Bay of California.

Border's - doesn't have it on any "New Releases" display, and only a few copies, well hidden.

Barnes and Noble - only a few copies, and it wasn't in the New Releases section...not standing up for display, only a couple copies lying flat, and relatively hidden behind the display.

Second Barnes and Noble - displayed way in the back of the store near Current Events - not in the "New This Week" or "New Releases" sections up in the front of the store, and nothing on any of the display tables.

I had to really look for it, at all these stores.

Gotta imagine the leftist filth is doing this with her book at store after store across this country...

I bought mine at Barnes and Noble in West Hartford, Ct.

Right at the front of the store, in plain sight, in it's own stand with Annies Picture

I used to visit a Border's here in Austin and browse the Politics section. I would always seem to forget where I found the lib books so I'd just find any old spot on a shelf to stuff it in. They would never have the right wing/conservative books out in the open i.e. facing out to the isle. They had a window display of "Our recomendations" that were at times just sick. I never go there anymore since I was confronted by an employee who HAD to go back through the politics section to "fix" it after I was done browsing. Oh, and another thing. They were usually pretty good at cleaning graphity off of the bathroom walls but for some reason "Nuke Isreal" had been up there for months and is probably still up there. They just suck that's all. Pro-choice as long as it's what I want you to choose.

Find another book store and register your complaint with the management

Hmmm, that's the first photo I've seen of Ann from a side view. She's nicely, uh, stacked. ....unlike her book in Borders.

I received Ann's book yesterday. I have started reading it, and have enjoyed it thus far. She sticks it to Liberals on patriotism, and also how the left has been, and always will be, enemies of America.

...hundreds of Hillary books strategically placed all over - when you walked in you were faced with a wall of Hillary!...

I think that this might be good news.

Corporate probably made a huge inventory investment in Lying History, and now they realize that they have a real turkey on their hands, so they better promote and unload this piece of garbage, while there's some semblance of buzzzzz!

When I bought mine the other day, here in Houston, "Blinded by the Right" was facing front. How old is THAT piece of tripe?

If the book was really selling, there wouldnt have been books EVERYwhere!

These stooges have tied up alot of capital in a product that is not selling and have nobody to blame but themselves. As their inventory of Treason flies off the shelves, their inventory of Lying Herstory remains static. You gotta love it.

I can confirm the same is true at my Barnes and Noble in Massachusetts. Every-freaking-place I looked, there was another display of hillary's face.

I made it a point to turn each one around, so that the back cover showed instead of the front. It took me a while, but I think I got them all.

Interestingly, the friend I was there with asked me why I was doing it, and I said because it's all lies. Another patron overheard, (a crunchy granola type) and asked me if I had read it. I said I only had read excerpts in the media, and that was enough for me. He said he wanted to read all the lies, but he refused to pay for the book because, he said, she didn't deserve the money.

Has anyone ordered from Amazon?

Amazon is getting my book to me very slowly. It sat around in the warehouse for four days before being shipped.

Is that normal? Should a bestsellihg book be that hard to stick into a package and send out?

Ann is still #2 on amazon.com; Hitlery is up to #7?

Ann even looks good on the radio!

Anyone coming across a bookstore that is not prominently displaying Ann Coulter's book needs to find their voice, use their lungs and complain to management! Let them know that you've read about their unfair treatment on the internet and that you came to see for yourself.

One more thing: Be sure that a captive audience witnesses your complaint!

Amazon.com is not even close to what it used to be. I have waited as much as 10 days for a book that supposedly ships in 24 hours.

But that is not the only reason I refuse to use them anymore: They no longer have a telephone number available for customers to call. Nothing, zero, nada. And when you email tham, they respond as though they didn't even read your email. Plain and simple, they now officially suck.
