Exhibition tackles art's 'last taboo' - excrement
A new art exhibition on the theme of excrement has opened in Canada.
Scatalogue: 30 Years of Crap in Contemporary Art, is on display at Ottawa's SAW Gallery.
It includes a statue of former Canadian prime minister Brian Mulroney holding a piece of faeces in his hand.
The exhibition also features soiled trousers, freeze-dried dung and cow pie clocks, reports Canadian Press.
Curator Stefan St-Laurent believes contemporary art has become conservative.
He said: "We came up with this idea because we were thinking: what's the last remaining taboo in contemporary art?"
But local MP Chuck Strahl called it a waste of taxpayers' money. The gallery receives 75% of its funding from the Ottawa city, Ontario and federal governments.

This is art? Yawn.... I don't look at this postmodern shit anyway. I apologize for the off color language but in this case I think it fits what's on display in this Canadian exhibition.

That's kinda' redundant, isn't it? I mean, modern art for thirty years has been crap, right? What do I know? I'm just another uncouth working class filth.

Just another sign we are living in the "End Times."

Ask any artist: "What is art?" and they'll seriously tell you that it is "anything". That's only the beginning. Next you'll need an "art interpretor" to tell you what you are looking at.

First Terrance & Phillip, then the homosexual marriage thing, now this. I'm beginning to wonder if Canada is worshipping a new god, Sterculius, Roman god of feces. B-P Seems like all the news out of Canada is of a scatological nature.
Dark humor aside, I need it for my sanity, it's a shame to see Canada go down the crapper like that. Time to invade I guess.

Yeah, you got me there I'm afraid, we have the same BS down here so I guess if yuns are going down the crapper, we are the next one after you. B-( You got a point though, we got our own house to clean up here as well. Maybe we all should join together and clean up both our houses.
I'm just kind of grumpy at this week's ruling up there in Canada about homosexual marriage and I guess I'm just letting off some steam. I know I live in the United States, but really these shenanigans from the left affect us all no matter if you're from th United States, Canada, UK, Australia, and so on. I think we all should ban together at some point.
