Gee golly. Sure sorry to see Moose go. Good thing he wasn't some incompetent grandstander who took credit for others' work. Awfully glad he didn't become the poster boy for 'incompetent police work' or 'affirmative action hires gone awry'. Good thing. I'm sure some right-minded organization will bring him on at a ridiculous salary and continue to provide the a**-kissing he's become so used to. Yep............

Local Maryland Dems are laying their praise on thick, especially those responsible for the Chief's hiring. The County Executive for Montgomery County said yesterday that he supports Chief Moose writing the book while critics have expressed concern about any revelations affecting the trials. Why aren't they concerned about that. The trials should be foremost in their minds.

The only criticism I've heard is "although Chief Moose handled the investigation with professionalism and [insert BS here], he allowed his celebrity to go to his head since." I expect Chief Moose's book to be filled with about the same level of veracity as Living History. Merely another example of "let me get out there first and defend (cover up) my . . . actions."

There is an incredible story to tell here. It's a shame the Chief cannot be trusted to tell it.
