Local Maryland Dems are laying their praise on thick, especially those responsible for the Chief's hiring. The County Executive for Montgomery County said yesterday that he supports Chief Moose writing the book while critics have expressed concern about any revelations affecting the trials. Why aren't they concerned about that. The trials should be foremost in their minds.
The only criticism I've heard is "although Chief Moose handled the investigation with professionalism and [insert BS here], he allowed his celebrity to go to his head since." I expect Chief Moose's book to be filled with about the same level of veracity as Living History. Merely another example of "let me get out there first and defend (cover up) my . . . actions."
There is an incredible story to tell here. It's a shame the Chief cannot be trusted to tell it.
Chris Core on WMAL radio talking now about how Montgomery County police officers are furious with Moose for messing up the sniper investigation. Guest says Moose knew the snipers were blacks weeks before they were caught.
