In addition, he faces three attempted murder counts ? one for each tent he allegedly hit with a grenade ? arising from the wounding of 18 others, in a field camp at 1 a.m. local time March 23. Not that it will make any difference, but shouldn't this ahole be charged with as many counts of murder as men he injured and killed? He wasn't attacking the tents.

It won't be over until the press plays the race and religion cards.

Capt. David Coombs, one of Akbar's four Army lawyers
I think I went to school with this lawyer. Good guy, hope he's kept his common sense.

I heard he will either hang or be shot by firing squad.

Unbelievable. We're turning into a nation of wusses. Murder of a superior officer in the field during wartime has always meant summary execution. This waste of protoplasm should have been executed that night.

The fact that this worthless bastard is still alive, is a bad sign...
Caught "red-handed" as he was --- should have resulted in his immediate execution....ON THE SPOT..
I fear he will escape execution...as will the dozens of murderers at GITMO....
For however long terrorists see they can excape death -- they will continue to press forward with their murderous "jihad".....
To end "jihad"....kill them, kill them quickly and kill them in great numbers...
