VH1, which named Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" the greatest song of the past quarter-century.

Pretty good choice, though I think some of their other material (esp the second half of "Nevermind") was even better.

I agree. However, this list seems to be made of songs that received substantial radio/video airplay and while Nirvana has much better songs than SLTS, this was the song that put Nirvana on the map and changed rock music.
