The Reparations pipe dream and The Taxcut reality for Blacks Americans

When I think I finally have the self-promoted and selected black leaders figured out they throw me another crave ball.

While doing research online I came across Jesse Jackson’s weekly commentary in the Chicago Sun Times, where he is railing against taxcuts and carrying the Democrat Banner that taxcuts only benefit the wealth, funny that such an argument would come from a wealth man like Jackson, he goes on to state in his commentary that taxcuts put in danger social programs such as Medicaid and Medicare, as well as funding for public schools.

Now I’m completely stupefied if billions in taxcuts spread out over the long term are suppose to endanger all types of federal funded social programs and create deficits, then why has Jackson signed on for trillions dollars in “black reparations,” which he and other black leaders are demanding for what they have labeled as the lingering effects of slavery upon the black community?

Right you have to be a fool to fall the scam of black reparations because Jesse Jackson, the NAACP, Rep. John Conyers D-MI, and the National Coalition of Blacks for Reparations in America (N’COBRA) are fully aware that neither party is going to support the political hot potato of Reparations. I remember when Senator Hillary Clinton D-NY appeared on Chris Matthew’s Hardball College Tour from Albany NY and how a young black student stood there in shock after asking Mrs. Clinton if she supported the concept of reparation? Mrs. Clinton simply stated flat out “no” to any concept of black reparations.

The whole idea of black reparations is to entertain us in black community. You see this is meant keep all of us beholden to the old guard of black leaders and since slavery is a common bind to which nearly every black person can trace an ancestor to, these leaders can claim they are still fighting for our black liberation.

When the United Nations sponsored its so-called Conference on Racism Durban South Africa nearly 2 years ago, every socialist black activist in America jumped at the chance to have this issue of pushed to the forefront of worldwide headlines, finally they would shame us all into accepting the worldwide big government socialism they have so long wanted.

The Durban Conference was doomed from the start as black activist watched in complete horror as Yasser Arafat turned it into a soapbox from which he could bash Israel. These black activist blamed the Bush Administration for not send Secretary of State Colin Powell to Durban as one of the reason why the conference failed, but remained completely silent when a multi-cultural Congressional Democrats, who accompanied these activist and the Congressional Black Caucus members pulled out as well.

Dejected Congressional Black Caucus members and reparation activist tried to put the best spin possible on the conference, even remaining alone to the end by making the claim they were still fight for what blacks worldwide are owed and for our liberation, when the reality of the matter is they are fight to keep us on their plantation, bowing at their feet and Durban was their soapbox from which to do it.

It would be safe to say that President Bush has done more for the pro-reparations crowd than any other President. When you study the N’CORBA Website one of the things they are demanding is “immediate tax relief” for all black Americans as part of reparations, so I guess the current round of taxcuts should be seen as the first payment of reparations from the federal government for the 6 months out of the year that we slave to pay the bills.

The so-called black leaders can keep their reparations pipe dream, I will take my taxcut and invest in the future for my family and myself since the past is behind me and I can’t change things in the past.

It's an excellent product, but check your grammer. It's something enemies can use to ignore your ideas.

Always a pleasure to hear from you. my friend.

Yep, you've got an accurate analysis of the situation. Your speaking style is fire-breathing. But it looks like you understand the "cool medium" of television, and tone things down just a notch when you go on news shows.

Keep up the good work.

My thoughts ... ok.

This is a proposed penalty upon people who have never owned slaves, to be paid to people who have never been slaves.

Good job! Conyers, however, is not the only representative that is supporting reparations. The Black Caucus was on a local public service tv channel and there were more than two democratic representatives explaining the reparations issue and telling their activists to go out and register more voters and tell them which candidates to vote for.

Well said, Kevin.

'Tis a shame that the only response to black conservatives to people like you, Shelby Steele, or Condi Rice is to call you "tokens" or "House Negroes".

One of great myths that is peddled by black columnists is that the black community has a vibrant, diverse political culture. Nothing could be further from the truth. The "mainstream" black political culture is the closest thing to Stalinism that I have seen in American politics outside of the activist wing of the Democratic Party. Black liberals accept no deviationism from the Company Line. Thus, while it remains politically easy to call people such as your self a "race traitor", the black community is harmed as a whole because innovative thinking that challenges the status quo is rejected out of hand.

Most distressing. Yet, everytime I read your posts or listen to Walter Williams, for instance, I understand that there is hope.

Be Seeing You,

Chris

Reparations is a landmine that neither party is going to step on and The Congressional Black Caucus only seeks to use the issue to increase their numbers and peddle their socialist politics.

The one thing I don't understand about reparations this: A very large number of "black" people have some white ancestry. Likewise a large number of other citizens have some black ancestors. So how black do you have to be to get reparations? Will there be a need for a huge new geneological industry to quantify the number of former slaves in everyone's family tree? What about the many people whose geneological data are missing? What about people who are part African but not descended from slaves? If I am descended from both slaves and slave-owners, does that mean I pay myself?

You have to understand there is no purpose in this, other than keeping blacks beholden to the selected leaders. They know there will never be reparations.

Wonderful! I haven't seen anyone put it quite that way; but it's true! I couldn't imagine why more black people don't see the taxcuts as a form of reparation. Many of us whites, and the people of other groups will benefit from it as well. And they shall, if they use it wisely to prosper in the future!
