Vanity-Request Help on Story-Chris Dodd & Ted Kennedy Using Military Transport

Can anybody help me? I've been trying to locate a story I found about Chris Dodd and Ted Kennedy a while back. The online database that I originally discovered the article on doesn't exist anymore, and the searches I've done on what databases are available to me don't show anything.

I wish I could remember who the President was at the time this incident took place. Ted Kennedy and Chris Dodd were drunk (what else is new?). They needed to get a flight to attend someone's funeral and contacted the President (I believe it was the President or one of his cabinet members) to get a military flight out so they could get there in time for the services. I'm of the mind that the reason they were running late was because they had been out on the town boozing and missed their flight. They were pretty persistent in their pleas and it was quite obvious to the person they were talking to, that they were both smashed. I'm almost sure they got their requested flight.

I've just written John McCaslin of the Washington Times as I believe it was the Times that I originally found the article in, but I can't be sure. I'm hoping he will respond, but thought I'd see if I could jog any Freepers memories on this one. I'd like to be able to find a hard copy so that I can send it around to folks like Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, etc.

It's been quite a while since I first read this story. I had posted excerpts of the article here on FR, probably about the time the DNC campaign corruptions were coming to light, ie., Charlie Trie, coffee fundraisers, etc. Dodd held a post at the DNC while these scandals were brewing. How about it Freepers!! Can anybody help?

This article doesn't talk about the incident you are referring to, but it has a Chris Dodd/ Teddy Kennedy story.

There was an article about a clintoon appointee who used military helicopters to go golfing. Sonunu or something like that.
