Vote tally on 1994 "Assault" weapons ban

I am looking for the vote tally on how many Republicans voted for/against this Bill and how many Democrat's voted against this bill. Basically a full yea/nea vote tally, with a total count of R's and D's. Thanks.

From the sites you posted, total votes equal 529. Your posted figures ad up to 611.

Better check your figures.

SIG: You've got to remember that there are several US Senators and several more US Congresscritters who are RINO's.

The vast majority of Republican's are real Conservatives, along with about four or maybe five of the last Conservative Democrats in Congress.

The Sigs are great weapons, BTW, but they are made in the Federal (Socialist) Republic of Germany - am glad I bought mine a long time ago.

From what I gather, the vote was in 1994, when the Dems controlled Congress and before the Republican Revolution took Congress later that year.

Though I thought there were fewer Dems than 56, it may as yet be the correct number.

I don't know if the House will pass it. Assuming (don't know for sure) Tom DeLay and Roy Blunt are against renewal, they should be able to hold together most of their caucus plus add no more than 2 or 3 dozen, at BEST, from the other side. 218 Nays are all we need. They would be a tough 218 though.
