One must wonder what Eli Pudpuller is doing with those 18-hour workdays Mother Jones refers to!

I have no doubt about that. But they aren't getting much press. The latest news item, save the Mother Jones article, I could google for "Eli Pariser" was this one, from April 15:

I'm not sure, but I think they are similarlly named but financially isolated organizations:

"Contributions to MoveOn.org are not tax deductible because they will be used to influence legislation."

Who started MoveOn? MoveOn was started by Joan Blades and Wes Boyd, two Silicon Valley entrepreneurs, with their family and friends. Although none of us had experience in politics, all shared deep frustration with impeachment and the lack of congressional leadership toward quick resolution. We all heard this same sentiment from a diverse group of friends and colleagues. On September 18th 1998, we decided to do something. Three of us with background in Internet software worked on the website. Others have worked to put together materials and start the ball rolling through their personal contacts. We are located all over the country, but most of the web work took place in Silicon Valley.
The MoveOn Peace campaign was founded independently as "9-11Peace.org" by Eli Pariser, a Maine native and recent graduate of Simon's Rock College of Bard. In the days following September 11th, 2001, he launched an online petition calling for a peaceful response to break the cycle of violence, which was quickly signed by more than one hundred thousand people in the U.S. and almost half a million worldwide. Eli joined forces with MoveOn soon afterward, and is now our International Campaigns Director.

A visit to MoveOn's New York office really got Wimsatt thinking. Upon arriving at the door, he was ushered into the 8-by-10-foot room where Pariser sleeps. "There was a little desk, a little bookshelf, a chair, and a laptop," says Wimsatt. "I'm like, 'Okay, let's go see your office.' But he's like, 'This is it.' I was stunned -- the most effective progressive political force today is coming out of this 22-year-old kid's bedroom."

In short according to these Marxist dullards, Hussein might have been a benevolent autocrat instead of a fiend who sponsored terrorism, started wars of conquest, stole billions from his own impoverishe citizens, and murdered them in the millions. Far leftists are too obtuse to be allowed to walk around without adult supervision. It reminds me of Chomsky's quote that we were going kill millions of Afghani citizens. The left is never held accountable by the major news outlets. And say, where are the exposes of the Big Three networks concerning Chomsky's and other anti-American lefties influence on American education? No Bill Bennett's gambling problems are more important of course.
