The bottom line is that neither party cares what happens to this country, only who controls it. Both will rape the constitution to suit their ends. We are just their pawns in the ultimate game of power and wealth. When there is more wealth to be made offshore that's where the jobs will go. If there were any concern about this in our government it wouldn't be happening. But there is no concern.

Those whose only concern is power and wealth betray just us as we are betrayed by those whose ideology is in opposition to what America was originally supposed to stand for.

Our government institutions are so large because their main function is to control people, not to serve the people.

The only solution will come when the people of this country decide to take their country back. I guarantee it won't be by the ballot box.

Offshore outsourcing can offer companies savings of 25 percent to 50 percent, since workers in less-developed companies earn far less than U.S. employees.

Let's see. This money is going to support workers who live at India's standard of living. The money that goes to India doesn't get circulated in the economy here. A large part of it goes to those who set up the arrangements to transfer the jobs to India.

And there are those who say the US worker should "get over it". Get over what? Having a high standard of living and job security?

With globalization, our economy can go only one way...down. It's the real sleeper issue, along with illegal entry into the US, in this presidential election. I say "sleeper issue" because no one seems to have awakened to the fact that it's a winner.

Couldn't agree with you more. Nice Post.
