Didn't find this particular article posted, and I thought the Clinton info needed stressing

also signed by then-U.S. President Clinton. According to the deal, no PLO officials were to be arrested for violent acts committed before the 1993 Israel-PLO pact of mutual recognition, What?!?!?!?! I had no idea Clinton went *that* low! Damn! Didn't Palestinians break that pact, though?
To: BrooklynGOP
I find it hard to believe that even the Clinton State Department would have signed a
carte blanche for all PLO officials instead of agreeing to a list of specific individuals.
Otherwise, everytime a terrorist was arrested for a crime committed before the accords, the PLO could just issue a communique stating that the terrorist was the PLO Chief Minister in Charge of Shooting Babies and was therefore protected from prosecution.

Palestinians are allowed to do whatever they want. Remember only America and Israel have to play by the rules.

I think I need to email this article to my Jewish friends in case they still want to vote Democrat.

Even if Abbas cannot be held criminally responsible, he should have to face his civil responsibilities. US authorities should bring him into the US and hold him as a flight risk while the Klinghoffer family sues him for the death of their father. After the verdict in that case the US should let him go - - -
By placing him on a cruise ship, tying him to a wheelchair and pushing him overboard at sea. See ya later, "chum"
To: Sgt_Schultze
Well, I think Italians can still try him. Besides, didn't Palestinians break that pact?

Can you link this about Abbas?

"Didn't Palestinians break that pact, though?"
Many times over. As far as I'm concerned, that treaty or pact is DOA, as in DEAD. So much for Klintoon's pathetic legacy. May x42id and Abbas writhe in hell.
Take Abbas back, try him in a military tribunal and hang his sorry ass (after we squeeze him for all the info we want). And hang him pronto.

no PLO officials were to be arrested for violent acts committed before the 1993 Israel-PLO pact of mutual recognitionHe is not a PLO official. He is a former official of the PLO.
Abbas was a member of the Palestine Liberation Organization's executive committee from 1984 but left in 1991, according to the State Department

It's like free speech and boycotts are only the right of the left wing. The Palestinians need not follow the rules.

Correct. He is a PLF official.
To: BrooklynGOP
After the impeached one granted clemency to those F.A.L.N. terrorists in 1999, nothing shocks me anymore. It's just another stain for clinton's legacy.
To: exDem from Miami
Correct. He is a PLF official. Thanks, I didn't know.

Don't get me wrong, syricus, I'm not arguing for the legal standing of the PLO's case, it just annoys me no end that a certain previous administration would sign on to this kind of immunity for known terrorists, whether "official" PLO officials or otherwise.
To: RogueIsland
also signed by then-U.S. President Clinton. According to the deal, no PLO officials were to be arrested for violent acts committed before the 1993 Israel-PLO pact of mutual recognition, BULL. Look at text of Oslo Accords. The agreement is between ISRAEL and PLO. It DOES NOT BIND any other party. Israel may not prosecute him, BUT WE CAN

I was arguing, in a "surfacey way," with the article.
My words might be a waste anyway, since I don't know what the actual wording of Clinton's interim agreement was
