DFU SONG: Ob-la-di Ob-la-da (Timmy Robbins -- Hollywood Clymer finds payback is a bitch)

MIDI - OB-LA-DI OB-LA-DA
Timmy Robbins is a stinking hypocrite
He is really quite a lowlife jerk
When Liz Hurley made a little union flub
He said that in this town she's never gonna work
Ob-la-di Ob-la-da
what a Clymer
He deserves his worn out witch
Ob-la-di Ob-la-da
what a Clymer
He's learned payback is a bitch
Timmy Robbins didn't like what Lloyd Grove wrote
When he read it, he was steaming mad
One day they met and he whispered in his ear
If you say that stuff one more time I'll hurt you bad
Ob-la-di Ob-la-da
what a Clymer
He deserves his worn out witch
Ob-la-di Ob-la-da
what a Clymer
He's learned payback is a bitch
A lib'ral limo who wants his way
Right wing, shut up
just shut up
just shut up
just shut up
Always his terms
that is Hollywood
Non-lefties don't get their say
Timmy Robbins shoots himself right in the foot
He's not thinking clearly when he's hot
While he says that live and let live's what he's for
Proctor and Gamble felt the wrath of his boycott
Ob-la-di Ob-la-da
what a Clymer
He deserves his worn out witch
Ob-la-di Ob-la-da
what a Clymer
He's learned payback is a bitch
A lib'ral limo who wants his way
Right wing, shut up
just shut up
just shut up
just shut up
Always his terms
that is Hollywood
Non-lefties don't get their say
Timmy Robbins thinks free speech works just one way
In his favor's how it's gotta be
I just took my "Shawshank" tape out in the yard
And on it both my doggies got a chance to pee
Ob-la-di Ob-la-da
what a Clymer
He deserves his worn out witch
Ob-la-di Ob-la-da
what a Clymer
He's learned payback is a bitch
Ha ha ha ha ha ha
payback is such a bitch

Shawshank Redemption is one of my all time favorites, too, but I'll never watch it again. (Robbins doesn't think what's good for the goose is good for the gander.) O'Reilly told the errors of Robbins' ways tonight. It was absolutely brilliant and spot on!
To: Strategery
Yep, Shawhank Redemption was a good, solid movie like countless other humanity-affirming 'feel-good' movies. That opinion, it seems, is shared by you and me.
Tim Robbins, however, isn't displaying anything close to an 'opinion.' Mr. Robbins is displaying the fact that he is a two-faced, lying, hypocritical idiot and, more importantly, a genuine enemy of free speech and assembly.
As many here have already pointed out, Mr. Robbins routinely uses non-political public forums to advance his political radicalism; sometimes in total disregard of requests not to do so. For Mr. Robbins to deny others the right to their views or punish dissent on top of abusing the non-political forums his status has afforded him puts the lie to his petulant hypocrisy.
To actually believe that this buffoon has any validity in his sniveling rants currently masquerading as an aggrieved 'opinion' is astounding. This whining child is a classic example of 'do-as-I-say-not-as-I-do' elitism and it displays the fantastic disconnect the radical Left, in general, and the Hollywood elite, in specific, have with reality. Mr. Robbins, and pompous asses like him, simply cannot tolerate what they do being done back to them.
Them's the facts - not opinions.

I heaqrd an excerpt on the radio today where he was whining about being hated by conservatives. He is a sissy boy!

I hate his politics and his abuse of fame.
As far as the man goes, I pity him.
Being a liar and weakling at his age and level of success reveals him as coward and manipulator. Such people rarely come to grips with the truth about themselves and usually go to the grave thinking highly of themselves - an opinion rarely shared by those that come for the free food and drink offered after their funerals.

I caught a snippet tonight on O'Reilly and my remote automatically switched to mute. Funny how it does that whenever these hollyweirdos appear.
BTW I lost my bookmarks with the new system, boohoo.

"Tim Robbins is expressing his 1st Amendment rights of free speech though."
Agreed. Mr. Robbins is free to say whatever he wishes, even when it is wrong and shows him to the the simpering ass that he is.
"Everything he has said is legal and squares with the Constitution (or my interpretation of it, hehe)."
Again, agreed. Legalality has nothing to do with truth. What he actually advocates, however, is suppressing the free speech because it conflicts with his views. He can take that script and roll it up real tight and tuck it where only Hollywood directors would find it.
"Basically, he has a right to be dumb, and you have a right to run over your "Shawshank Redemption" DVD with your lawnmower."
Again, agreed. He has the right to be dumb. You, on the other hand, might want to brush up on reading for comprehension. I never said a thing about having a DVD or a lawnmower.
"I just downloaded the mp3 of whatever he said today so I will get back to you on this to see if you're accurate in your...colorful descriptions of his opinions."
Listening to Mr. Robbins will only give you the word he speaks. What he is and what he does are revealed by contrasting his words with his actions. This is where the actor fails to remember his current role and mistakes his lines from one play for those of another.

Did you know that "Obla-di-Obla-da" shares the same melody with "Back In the USSR"?
Or that the Doors song "Hello I love you" has the same melody as the old Trogs' song that went "Girl, I want to be with you all of the time (all day and all of the night)"?
Just some idle remarks apropos of nothing. A friend of mine and I used to play a game which was based on finding "borrowed" melodies. Some were explicit, such as "Sweet Little Sixteen" and "Surfin' USA", and some were much more subtle.

(from ABC news website) -----
Hurleys Career in Jeopardy
Actress Violated SAG Strike, Angers Industry
Oct. 10 Sometimes, saying youre sorry just doesnt cut it.
Model-actress Elizabeth Hurley, who appears in the upcoming comedy Bedazzled, may never work in Hollywood again.
The actress may be expelled from the Screen Actors Guild for crossing picket lines to film an ad for Estée Lauder, the cosmetics company she represents, according to the New York Post.
Very Supportive of Her Union
Hurley, 35, has apologized profusely for shooting a non-union commercial in New York City during the five-month-long TV commercial actors strike.
She was completely unaware of the situation because she doesnt live in this country, Hurley agent Tracey Jacobs explained to The Associated Press in July. And she is extremely apologetic about it. Had she known it was struck work, she would have never done it. She is very supportive of her union.
Union reps tell the Post that Hurley will probably be ejected, or at least heavily fined, despite her claims of ignorance. Even if shes not booted, some of her peers may still burn her for betraying SAG. At a New York rally Friday, outspoken actor Tim Robbins shouted, Were bringing [Hurley] to trial after this is over. She wont get away with it.
Actors have been striking since May 1 in order to force cable advertisers to pay residuals to actors in commercials, rather than utilizing a flat-rate pay scale.
This is a strike about working-class actors; this is not a strike about celebrity actors, Robbins added. He said the average annual earnings of actors who appeared in commercials was a paltry $5,000.
Talks between advertising officials and SAG and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists will resume Oct. 19 in New York.
