Two bottles found at a Paris railway station last month which were thought to contain the deadly poison ricin do not in fact contain traces of the chemical, the Paris prosecutor's office said.
"Preliminary tests pointed towards ricin but they were not confirmed by more complete analysis," an official said.
Police who examined a left-luggage locker at the Gare de Lyon on March 17 found two small bottles containing a liquid which the interior ministry said had "traces of ricin in a mix that turned out to be a very toxic poison".
Ricin is a naturally occurring and highly dangerous toxin found in castor beans.

My thought too..
Thank heavens it was only a trace amount of ricin.
Less than a pinpoint [of ricin] can kill a human if ingested, injected or inhaled and there is no known cure.
Will they be telling us the name of the very toxic poison?
I THINK you are misreading the article (which is confusingly written).
I believe the "very toxic poison" was quoting what was ORIGINALLY said about the bottles, not what was said when they said there was no Ricin.
