So I'm manning the Radio FreeRepublic chat server today and I see an account log on that I've never noticed before so my attention perks up. First thing he says is:
[17:13:14] <CanCom> anyone want to chat on US/CDN relations? without getting into a shouting match full of biased opinions?
Ok, so the first thing that comes to mind is how does anybody have an opinion that isn't biased? :)
So a couple of wise cracks go by and the next thing that happens is:
[17:14:23] <CanCom> hahah, like the US has real morals?
Ok, now my troll sensor is in RED ALERT mode.
[17:14:40] * agitator sets mode: +b *!*@TORN-3CA2906C.adsl10.rupert.net
[17:14:45] * CanCom was kicked by agitator (get lost)
I throw him out. He's outta here.
So a few minutes later, he logs back in with a standard chat client
[17:20:04] -irc4.agitator.dynip.com- *** Notice -- Client connecting on port 7700: smokeless (smokey@TORN-C1F4B57.citytel.net) [clients]
but sees I I've banned him, so...He logs back in again, but this time with a dialup account.
[17:21:57] * agitator sets mode: +b *!*@TORN-C1F4B57.citytel.net
[17:22:06] * CanCom was kicked by agitator (Ok, you're asking for it)
I kick his butt out again but now I'm getting ticked.
He then private messages me the following, 15 times:
[17:23:04] <smokeless> you americans are the joke and you just dont know it yet, are you really all as stupid as G.Bush? I cheered when I saw those planes crashing into the WTC, and I was really sad when they missed the "Whitey" house, ha, yer still a bunch of slave owning wannbe dicktators, keep it up with Canada, and maybe we should go back down there and burn yer "whitey" house down again...third times a charm, die americans die...love canada.
So ok, now I'm REALLY ticked off. This little pissant isn't smart enough to do what he's talking about so I didn't forward this off to the FBI and Secret Service. He's lucky I didn't, those guys have absolutely NO sense of humor about this type of comment and surely wouldn't have appreciated that this was probably just another cretin from bartcop. On the other hand, I'd bet his ISP wouldn't be happy about this. So I get on the phone and call his ISP which turns out to be a friendly little ISP and it just happens to be the only ISP that services this moron's town :)
I speak with a very nice gentlemen who has his finger on the account button and recount what this little ___hole had to say and his response was "I'm going to ____can his account, this is a direct violation of our terms of service." He proceeded to apologize profusely and I thanked him for his attention to the matter and mentioned that I would forward the logs to his attention for his records.
:) Now I'm smiling.
