As it would seem that with the advent of the current anti-war movement the meanings of any number of words and phrases have dramatically changed, on behalf of Webster's, here is an addendum to go by until you get a chance to pick up a 2003 dictionary;

Censorship was to ban one from speaking or writing now to allow someone to criticize an anti-war activist either in speech or writing in use We cannot allow the current regime to continue with its policy of censorship in America. Just last night, I heard G. Rush O'Reilly criticizing my Op-ed in the New York Times on his radio program. This must be banned immediately!

Illegal was something banned by law now anything an anti-war protestor disgrees with in use When the President attacked the soverign state of Iraq, with nothing but a broken peace treaty on Iraq's part and the authorization of Congress, he started an illegal war.

Unilateral was in internationalist terms, a country acting solely by itself now any number of countries acting in concert without France's approval in use The fourty eight countries currently participating in Bush's coalition must understand that such unlilateral actions surely threaten the hope of international cooperation.

Fascist Dictator was an absolute ruler of a fascist country now the elected leader of any democracy opposing France in use George Bush is a fascist dictator intent on oppressing the Iraqi people just as much as he is currently oppressing Americans.

NAZIs was members of the NAZI political party the main tenets of which were fascism and anti-semitism now Republicans in use The US government, man, is like, led by a bunch of NAZIs, man, who have, like, sold out to Israel, man.

Racism was supporting differing legal standards and/or placing a different intrinsic value for human beings based on their skin color now opposing differing legal standards and/or placing the same intrinsic value for human beings whatever their skin color in use One can see many elements of racism in Bush's policies as president, from opposing racial quotas at home, to actually believing Arabs have a desire for Anglo-Saxon notions of freedom and democracy like we do.

no blood for for oil was it is morally wrong to value human life and rights less than access to oil now it is morally wrong to value human life and rights more than access to oil in use No blood for oil in Iraq, my TotalFinaElf stock portfolio would take a hammering!

Terrorism was an attack aimed at civilians now any action by the US or Israeli military in use Why doesn't the US do something about Israel, huh? They are the worst practitioners of terrorism - having shot more suicide bombers than the whole rest of the world combined!

Empire was a state that owns other nations, generally against their will now the US government in use We can see how far gone down the road to Empire the US has become with the short leash it leaves on its conquests - like Germany.

Oppression was in relation to a government, denying people under its control their human rights now arresting anti-war protestors engaged in peaceful vandalism and assault in use I can't believe the oppression we all face in the US today under Fascist Dictator Bush. After attending the STOP BUSH rally across the street from the White House and being interviewed by the New York Times, the police had the nerve to arrest me for sucker punching a cop, when he, like, was really asking for it standing there with his NAZI looking uniform on.

Democracy was in the modern form, a system of government where the majority's will is enacted through elected representatives now when the will of the majority of protestors is enacted through elected representatives in use We are concerned for the democracy of this country, that it can go to war with only the support of an overwhelming majority irrespective of what I think of it. No war without my permission Mr Bush!

Cabal was A conspiratorial group of schemers; ie al Qaeda now any political group that includes Jews in use There is a neo-conservative cabal controlling American foreign policy today.

Diverse was in political terms, including elements from all over the political spectrum now Leftwing in use This march was planned by a politically diverse group of organizations, from the Revolutionary Communist Party to the Workers World Party.

Nonviolent Direct Action was civil disobedience and law breaking that specifically precludes any form of violence now wanton vandalism and random assaults in use Remember to bring your baseball bats and some rocks to tonight's nonviolent direct action training seminiar.

I agree with your definitions, and with the importance of fighting for the preservation of the tradition which is language. Note that although you may have learned English from an English-Spanish/Spanish-English dictionary, you could do so only if you already knew Spanish. Everyone has a native tongue which they learned by tradition.
I found it amusing writing it at least... ;)
I know what you mean. My magnum opus is:

Why Broadcast Journalism is Unnecessary and Illegitimate
I learned a lot by writing it, and discussing it with FReepers.
