They are only worried about the "negative Training Methods" because they know how they "trained" thier kids.
The dolphins do not know they are in harms way, because they aren't in harms way....I am so fed up with PETA, I am so tempted to do something when I drive by thier headquarters here in Norfolk.

I wonder what the dolphin-mishap rate is, anyhow. I would surmise it is well nigh zero, because the dolphins are trained never to touch what they find. I never heard of a Purple Heart being issued to a dolphin :-)

It remains unestablished whether cetaceans bear the responsibility of moral choice. Therefore, these people are screaming ninnies.

Can dolphins even set off a mine? Doesnt it take a certain amount of pressure that only a large ship can create?

Oh they're just mad that dolphins are smarter than liberals. And more patriotic.

Why are we spending time trying to train animals that have lives and minds of their own to try and carry out these tasks for us? That just seems a little archaic, not to mention unreliable," Boyles explained. Which explains why bomb sniffing dogs, handicapped assisting primates, falconry and my bird hunting springer are so unreliable..DIPSTICK!!!

When this peta person can prove to me she has done a mind-meld with the afor mentioned bottle-nosed dolphins, only then will I be slightly influenced as to the veracity of her comments vis-a-vis her knowledge of what goes on in a dolphins mind. It appears to me that mz so-and-so has squandered what the Lord and her parents chose to give her.

These are animals that, number one, have not volunteered to take part in this whatsoever They never said that they didn't want to take part in this activity, either.

Did PETA voice any concerns during the Iran-Iraq war when Iran marched children in human waves to clear land-based mine fields? Oh wait, human children are less important than non-human creatures. [/sarcasm]
