Black Muslim US soldier is a suspect! ("10 U.S. Soldiers Hurt In Grenade Attack")

(CBS) Ten U.S. soldiers were injured, six or seven of them seriously, in a grenade and small arms attack at Camp Pennsylvania in northern Kuwait, reports CBS News Correspondent Mark Strassmann, who is traveling with the U.S. Army's 101st Airborne Division.

Strassmann said the grenades were rolled into two commanders' tents at the camp. When officers ran from the tents, they were hit by small arms fire.

"From our reports it appears that a terrorist penetrated Camp Pennsylvania, one or more terrorists threw two hand grenades into a tent," said George Heath, spokesman at Fort Campbell, home base of the 101st.

Strassman said three suspects were being held for questioning, two Kuwaitis who served a translators and an American soldier described as a black Muslim.

The injured soldiers were rushed to a field hospital but military officials had no word on their conditions, Lt. Cmdr. Charles Owens said from Camp As Sayliyah in Qatar.

The military did not identify the unit of the 101st that was in the camp but said it had been in Kuwait for about one week. Most of the division has entered southern Iraq.

Separately, Strassmann reported, an Iraqi rocket fired at U.S. forces in Kuwait was destroyed by Patriot missiles launched from nearby Camp New Jersey.

The terror and missile attack came as the U.S. assault on Iraq gained steam. American and British forces besieged the southern city of Basra and pounded Baghdad with impunity. But tough fighting loomed for coalition troops as they pressed deeper into Iraq.

What I meant to add ---if there were a white convert to Islam, I wouldn't trust them any more than a black convert to Islam. That doesn't mean they will kill Americans ---but they aren't the people I'd most trust not to.

LOL... Ranting is good. Giving someone a good cursing out is truly therapeutic. As for the NOI, I do not know of any white members of the NOI although one man tried to get me to go to Saviors Day. When this fellow used to come by, I would get to read Final Call, LF's newspaper. The only thing good I ever read in there was LF's vitrol against abortion. He is very anti-abortion. BUT as for everything else, well... KKK sent me their paper once too. There's NO DIFFERENCE in the content. NOI is a black supremacist organization. NOI appeals to a lot of black Americans because either of the history between blacks and whites or because there are a lot of them who don't like whites. White supremacist groups aren't tolerated by white people but what I find in speaking to a lot of blacks is a lot of excuse making. Oh well the fruits of islam (the police of NOI) clean up the projects,etc. NOI believes there is a coming race war and the end of the white world as we know it.

Heh, I've never been accused of being PC before; my liberal friends will be impressed.

For the record, I believe we're waging a just war and I'm proud of our Christian president who is waging it. And I did see, this evening, the story that the culprit is indeed a black man and a recent convert to Islam. And I agree -- naturally! -- that the US gov't etc. needs to consider seriously the risks posed by identifiable groups, even if it involves "profiling" and other un-PC action.

It's permissible, in my view, for a Christian to be a soldier or a policeman or an executioner -- acting as an arm of society to protect the innocent.

But we are under orders, very explicit orders with a dire warning in the Lord's Prayer (Forgive us AS we forgive), to forgive our enemies in our private capacities.

I also think that it is a poor tactic to use harsh or extreme rhetoric in most circumstances. I'm all for destroying enemies, and converting them to friends is the best way to do that. It isn't feasible in all cases, of course, and naturally there must be consequences for evil actions. In this present case I trust that the culprit will be court-martialed and executed. And I will pray for him throughout, as I hope you will also.

Yes, he is a muslim, and yes, he fought against America. But it has nothing to do with the cult of Black Islam, which is its own peculiar breed of Black Nationalism.

The fact that Colin Powell is black, or Thomas Sowell, or Walter Williams, or anyone else is not material, as we are not discussing black men in general.
